Crumbled and ordered 2 - one for me and one for the Mrs. Going to wrap and label them from Santa under the tree :D

Not sure how I am going to smuggle them into the house or hide them for the next 2 weeks...

This may be a silly question, but how does warranty work on these? I just get the idea this is AOC dumping stock, and once they're gone, like you've said, they're gone...

3yr warranty and AOC is a manufacturer so they will always have the ability to repair as they will have panels, PCB's etc to replace faulty items with should there be a failure, but they are a reliable brand.
 
I got my shipping notification email too :)
I had to disassemble my desk to lower it (there is a shelf 52cm above tabletop height so needed a bit more), was a bit of a mission but it's done. Can't wait to setup the new screen.
 
I want to keep mine for Xmas day to give me something to do. But will need to open it once it arrives to make sure all is ok, hopefully DPD don't make a mess of it.
 
I've just had an email saying mine will be delivered on Monday. Shame myself or my housemate won't be in so I'll be arranging for it to be delivered on Thursday. Looking forward to getting it. :)
 
How would these compare to the Samsung C27HG70 which I was about to buy? Other than the fact the Samsung is 144hz. Picture quality wise, will this be on par?
