It Most likely something simple like they fitted a non standard UK plug..:p
 
According to the AOC rep on Twitter they're having production issues and as Australasia is close (relatively) to Taiwan they're getting priority.
 
I know what happened... some joker in the factory replaced the 'O' and 'C' on their logo with 'SS' on ALL monitors bound for the UK. :)

Only those in the secret division know the real reason, so probably three people on this forum, me, PCM2 and the AOC rep.
 
I don't think anyone was expecting this pre-Xmas after the last announcement, it's more a question of: early Jan? End Jan? February or March....? :)

Not sure I'll get one at all now. I use my computer mostly during winter - By the time this is out, and likely by the time I've got one I'm happy with, we'll practically be in spring! Think I'll just for for the 27" instead.
