Its probably better for it to take longer to get to the UK should minimize any hardware defects /problems.

Yes I have confirmed with AOC America that is the case as well - great to see it going stateside. But that says nothing about the UK price or availability. AOC America are entirely separate to AOC Europe.

Prices are set independently by AOC Europe and America - and that is just an MSRP anyway. The latest word remains an MSRP of £599 over here and an expected street price of £550 or so.

Maybe not a real news, but I've heard rumors confirming the 8th December as the probable release date. That's for the the US and EU, never heard about UK specifically though. I'm quite certain for the US is a thing, while for EU is still a rumor.

It is definitely the case that AOC America plans a release then, but AOC Europe have confirmed nothing of the sort. They plan a staggered release which will mean some EU countries may get at around that time, but many will get it later. It is almost certainly not coming to the UK until January-February at the earliest.
