Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

After doing the right thing and joining an orderly/unorderly que with an overclockers preorder it does pi$$ me of a bit when you can literally be in the right place at the right time and nab a card. I added a "notify when in stock" with another supplier and just missed out on an 3090 ROG Strix OC today as i was away from my email. When i clicked on the link, they were there but not able to add to basket as they were in someone elses basket.
 
It's gone quiet since I got my 3080 Master ha ha.

I'm still here to complain that Aorus Engine software keeps my monitors from going to sleep mode... The LCD display won't display my temps regardless of how many things I've tried to make it work.

Aorus don't reply on Twitter or Facebook either

Apparently some dolt who works at OCUK shipped me the card when it actually was suppose to get cancelled. Looks like I've peeved someone off (probably gibbo) with my emails to gigabyte reps or the fact I was able to snag multiple cards elsewhere.

Anyway, when I called that day, they said I wasn't cancelled. They shipped me a card and I've received a 3080 Aorus Xtreme. HOWEVER- I've just checked my statement today, and what's that? A refund for my OCUK payment. Very weird. I didn't put a order cancellation form in, and I'm sitting with a 3080 Xtreme sent by OCUK.

So, I go check my order status on OCUK, and guess what I see:

So not only did OCUK lie to me saying I wasn't cancelled and then cancelled (and fully refunded me), they shipped me a card anyway and an email to say so. Guess being in position 1 really paid off.

:D:D:D:D:D. Thanks for the free GPU OCUK, you guys really are incompetent. Also for anyone wondering, no I'm not sending the card back, and no I won't be giving the refund back. Their mistake, my gain.

We've had fairly little of these cards, can't see any refunds on any of those orders... Enjoy your "free" graphics card. Have a good day. :)

I hope he is just trolling, he has been pretty Toxic in this/other 3080 Aorus forum and for him to get refunded/rewarded and without you guys seeing a record of it/looking into it would really make this experience worse.

know there isn't much you can do for supply but i reallyu hope 1 card hasn't gone to that donkeyhole for free

Yeah i thought that too but when you get told different information from Aorus then you start to wonder whats going on.

(Aorus) : Hello Sarah. We've had multiple shipments of 3080 Xtreme for Overclockers customers. As mentioned the QTY have been very small as they have to be split between regions and then again for etailers. I should have an update on what's arriving this week for Friday Afternoon. Thank you for your patience.

3 x 3080 xtreme cards Overclockers claim to of had and only one shipped that we know of and 3 cards wouldnt come in multiple orders as stated by Aorus above.
