Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

Thanks for the tip there. Finally got through, but perhaps they were sick of calls by this point (or "sold out"), but was told to go off website only. Wasn't pushy, and I'm sitting on the fence whether I pay the idiot tax and upgrade from the 3080 to 3090 Extreme. Had too much time to think about it in the past 2 months

I passed on the message to a friend of mine at the kind of same time as the comment was posted but was in a meeting, he just got through now and placed an order (on the phone for 40 mins), just depends who you speak to i suppose!

This annoys me somewhat, but if 2020 has taught me something, it's to sigh and get on with life ;)
 
There's a lot of posts here, too many to go through. Is anyone able to tell me what the state of play is with 3080 Aorus Xtreme? Position 123 last Friday (from position 166 a month ago). Is the general feeling that these are gonna take months to clear the backlog?

Basically the Situation is that a very small amout of cards has been shipped to Customers (not sure rn about the exact number but under 5 Aorus Xtreme 3080 Cards) the rest was all cancelations. Only problem is, based on the updates from Giga-man and Gibbo there should have been more card shipped which seem to be lost. Definetly still will be months till we see any significant amount of cards for customers.

Edit: Based on what @Bunty_Chops just said around 8 Cards were shipped, my bad.

at least 8 as Phantom has had his shipped at 8th place

Technically not, it (read: all 4 Aorus types) have 2 x HDMI 2.1 ports, and the middle port is HDMI 2.0 only (https://www.gigabyte.com/Comparison/Result/3?pids=7533,7537,7553,7554&fbclid=IwAR1Z0ap0OjbRGxRqVviF46naZrDa-UivSsTxhtD6jsx5H2hXdlEOKBraKhw) as well as 3 x DisplayPort 1.4a's, of which only 4 of the 6 can be used at any one time simultaneously but does give you more connectivity options yes

Thanks, don't really wanna quit the queue and join another but sure am tempted...
I know if I do then GB will suddenly sort out the issue and loads will come though.... :P
