Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

Im new here.

I got a Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Master 2 Weeks ago.
I only replaced it with my RTX 2080 TI.
Hav a Corsair 850W

I have some problems with the new card. Black Screen's. Yes the card can boost to 1970 in some games.

Most played game now is Valhalla and there the clock is at this (1970)
I can play some hours and then get a black screen.
More bad is in Star Citizen. I can load the game and when i in game run through some corridors 1 minute later or earlier black screen.

Then i have testet to undervolting and in same time some overlocking. I doesnt get the same speed but i could run star citizen without black screen. core voltage 70% , clock +150

But this is not what i want.
My next tests are that i run now with core voltage 95% or 90% without change clock and show if i run in a black screen again.

Any other have this probelms with this cards?
i thought nvidia has fixed this problem?


one thing that i cant understand: the bosst clock should be 1‎785, why in the hell it goes to 1970 in some games? not all.
GPU-Z says clock boost 1‎785 in main page.

Hope you get it sorted swiftly and can route it back to you today.

I had something similar few month back with a monitor i returned dpd collected it from me almost a week later and OC saying they havent had it back to refund me. i get a delivery from dpd its the monitor i returned so OC requested dpd to return it again and 2nd time round it did make its way back.

Zero black screens and I play Warzone for hours on end. This is with a 3080 Aorus Master. I just still can't get temp readout on the LCD it's pretty lousy to have a feature I can't use.

Another issue, sometimes when I exit a game, the LCD status will remain the same and won't show real/idle temp, clocks, Vram % ect...

Other then that, card is real nice to look at, getting good fps on 3440-1440p res, it's a thickk boi that's for sure.
Temps never reached above 70C

It's the same for my 3080 Master, just get the hatching every time I boot my PC regardless of what setting I apply. But broadly speaking it seems to work nicely, Temps are excellent, at low 60s even when playing the likes of MSFS20 good fps all round very quiet as well, especially coming from my 970 that I was torturing before.

Didn't have the right forms attached, coming to Jersey needs a few extra forms and they just weren't attached :( back to OCUK to get them on, probs delaying the card till next week now

Makes you wonder if someone at OC did this intentionally taking these forum posts personally.

Really hope you get it soon as possible chap as i would be a little concerned as i did read something about someone being 4th in queue for a card and it was shipped to somebody else and they were or still are waiting.

Nah, it's because i am not mainland UK and in Jersey we need customs invoices, happens a lot, but in return we don't pay VAT so it's swings and roundabouts :D

OCUK were nice enough to refund the shipping too, no harm really, whats a few more extra days to wait ;)

They say radiator inputs should be higher than the CPU so the air bubbles stay in the radiator rather than in the cpu pump causing increased heat

Should be 24 characters long for WD code and 25 long for GN code. all connected with a { , } inbetween and the codes are mixed of upper and lower case letters and numerals.
