Aorus Master / Extreme (3080+3090) Thread

What really? I thought they send out like 10 cards per week since I moved up about 10 positions per week until christmas.
20 cards have been released from ocuk since october (apparantly 21 from big shot gibbo, so i was close atleast)

I've been (took a while going through emails)

87th (14/10/20), 81st (23/10/20), 78th (30/10/20), 76th (06/11/20), 58th (13/11/20), 55th (20/11/20), 46th (27/11/20), 38th (04/12/20) 35th (11/12/20), 35th (again 19/12/20) 35th (for the third time 24/12/20) 34th (08/01/21) and finally 33rd (15/01/21)

Take a wild guess at there stock
That being said i do recall people in this forum post getting excited for movement for the 3090, the 18th place moved to 8 and i moved from 76 to 58 (-18), literally meaning 10 delivered.
I cant properly recall how the other 10 11 were sent out, like if it was in smaller quantities

Edited for the apparant 1 card i didnt account for

Thank you for that detailed analysis. Man thats much worse then I thought, but hey at least if people keep cancelling and we keep moving up this still means if we are patient eventually we will get one. In the worst case 3-4 Months of wait.
But im staying optimistic and hope for 2 months if people keep canceling. Nvidia officially said a few days ago that stock will need about 4 months form now to stabelize. Thats why I said 4 months wait worst case.

Oh by the way did you see this update by Gibbo?
He claims here that they shipped 57x 3080 xtreme cards:

Gigabyte 3080 Eagle OC - 618 back orders (186 shipped so far)
Gigabyte 3080 Gaming OC - 177 back orders - 10 overdue (236 shipped so far)
Gigabyte 3080 Master - 36 back orders - 8 overdue (137 shipped so far)
Gigabyte 3080 Extreme - 80 back orders - 4 overdue (57 shipped so far)

Your welcome for the 3090 xtreme analysis.

And no, i don't keep track of the 3080 Xtreme, that being said its a laugh in the face they are getting tons of 'cheaper' cards yet leaving the most expensive 3090 Xtreme out in the dust. I mean i get they make more money with the higher volume but c'mon, i cant recomend to buy a higher end card from them ever again. Especially when they price guage the 3090 xtreme to a price of an evga kingpin.

I understand your concern however I think they are unfortunately not in control of what cards they can get. The production itself of the cards is the main issue. They just take whatever they can get and reach it through and some versions will inevitably be even more scarce then others, which as everyone knows are already super scarce. Another interesting fact is, that Nvidia has said that for this card launch they had 2x as many cards ready to be shipped then the 20 series launch, which really brings into perspective how insane the demand really was and is. I was not fully aware of this until I read that statement.

Anyone managed to get the display on their 3090 Master card working properly and reliably? Mine still doesn't work reliably, even if I strip out all the other RGB software on my system. I still think its a software rather than hardware issue as RGB Fusion changes the setting for the panel every time I close it.

Mine is very intermittent, never remembers the settings and for me is a total waste of time, drivers are very poor.

Aorus Engine is awful too imho

My Master works fine. Set it once and left it. But the software is atrocious.

Likewise, set once and forget. I actually turned the screen off my 3090 and left the LED lights on white, then uninstalled the software. Still holding on to the settings a few weeks later. Aorus engine actually gave me the horrors, couldn't wait to blow it away.
