Thanks for sharing your settings, will use those as a base and alter accordingly. I sadly don't have much time now before i have to work so i will leave it at stock for now and have a good play around when i get home.

As promised, this is at 4.0 across all cores. I will continue as i said to monitor my temps in real usage and see how i feel about putting it upto 4.1,

Unfortunately i am experiencing a little issue that would probably be down to quality control,

The i key is extremely temperamental. Every other key is fine but the i absolutely insists on being hit completely centre. if as i regularly do hit the corner of the key it wont active the switch and im finding myself having to backspace a few and focus on hitting the i correctly. Any advice would be appreciated @Atom80 I can post a video demonstrating this in action later in the day before work/after sleep. Would that be something you would like to see?

Also i have just added the feet :)

Quick edit before i sleep, even though i have ordered the bag above, are there any recommended " sleeves " preferably without a zip for a laptop of this size?

There's a keyboard firmware fix on X5V6 download page on aorus.com

Edit: the B7 is awesome. I'm waiting for an official AORUS sleeve, there is talk of them coming soon. @Atom80 may know more?
 
Okay here is a quick video of the issue i am talking about. Whilst it might seem to be a matter of " you should just press the key more centered " I have been typing for 20 years now and placement and muscle memory are what they are. And i half of the time am hitting somewhere on the key where it wont activate.


What im going to do aswel is post this in the ocuk customer service area and discuss with them what we can do as i would rather have a 100% functioning keyboard but would also rather not be systemless for a long time especially this weekend/next weekend as i am having some time of work as rest is much needed.

I hope that's not going to be an issue on the updated v7 keyboards :(
 
Well tthe B7R backpack just arrived along with some haribo and a hdd enclosure. The X5 fits a lot more snug than i expected it would ( not a bad thing ) and i love the pouch material and the removable padding on the bottom is such a pragmatic idea. Going to spend a few weeks using it and will provide a detailed ( ish ) personal view of the bag. I can say one thing for sure though. It fits a lot of stuff. I could easily take a full gaming suite anywhere with this.

It is a little large but that's understandable especially with the amount of space provided. Hoping this fits into my work locker :D (along with tim, the spider who likes starburst. )
 
@Atom80 when will the 2ZA51-AORU2-X10S, AORUS E1, a large Thunder P3, and the AGC300 be available at OcUK? :D

The first 3 I need in my life, the 4th would be a luxury buy at some point.
 
@Atom80 Monday is here and i have this feeling that there won't be any need to wait in for delivery of the X5 V7! How can you guys have absolutely no idea when your product is going to arrive, it's nuts and makes me wonder what else is badly organised at your organisation. More annoyingly I gave an ultimatum that i would withdraw my pre-order, something i don't want to do but i'm getting fed up of bull! Please give us a realistic date that the product will arrive on our door steps so we can make properly informed decisions.

Good Morning darkbbright,

A bit confused, as we posted last week to say X5 units were shipping from factory on Friday, and should land with OCUK today, Monday.

The goods left on Friday, and today is Monday. We have checked the shipping information and at 08.01 this morning, the units are out with the delivery courier - so they should arrive with OCUK this morning, certainly today.

They will book in, and despatch pre-orders as soon as they can - we will highlight to them this morning to try and speed up the process.
