Apex Legends BR

actually no your character doesn't need to die. just remains afk, if you get back in and are alive, result. if not your mates can then rez if they manage to loot your crate.

Could get lucky (or have good teammates) if your quick enough to get back in and just carry on.

i think apex is even more suited to a reconnect option than pubg due to the respawn ability. disconnect = character dies and as you say then your teammates can rez you from one of the rez stations if you get back in

I'd be all for the standard reconnect option (afk)
Having to be dead and respawned by a random team mate, when you have no guarantees that they would pick up your banner, would not entice me into reconnecting if I disconnected from that session, for whatever reason.
Having your char just standing there sounds good enough to me, you could use some inventive ways of protecting those who disconnect out in the open. bangalore smoke/gibraltar shields, people are quite hard to see when they aren't moving anyway..

which is how it is in pubg and seems to work pretty well.

dunno that i'd agree that there should be some form of protection from afk players. guaranteed some rat **** would find a way to exploit that. just leave the character where it is 'a la' pubg.....if your still alive when you reconnect it's a double plus. you've no guarantee with pubg that you're going to reconnect into your character......players or the blue could have gotten to them.

Not a bad idea, but what happens if you crash (as we know lots of crashing issues on PC) - then you would get punished for disconnecting.

I havent had a crash but have had a couple of disconnects, i hope these will be ironed out soon :)
A reconnect options sounds a good plan, but maybe with that you would want to be on with a squad of mates. Dont see this working with randoms so well.

? thats odd as max level is 100.

But for now, you can keep grinding Apex Legends until you reach level 100, after which you can still earn additional content even though you will not be able to level up any further.

Every level needs 18000 XP to level up. When you get 18000 XP after reaching 100 you do level up, but it still shows the Apex gold logo with no level number. I've levelled up 33 times since reaching 100.
Since reaching Level 43 I've run out of Legends to spend my legends tokens on, so I currently have over 54000 Legend tokens. You get 600 of these every time you level up too.

For me, not that I'm great, but getting to know the guns makes a big difference. I know the Peacekeeper and Wingman are powerful, but I'm not good with the one shot, no scope type weapon, so I go Alternator, 99, R301. I'm just getting used to the Longbow, with the headshot bonus as long as I understand its no use if I'm not sniping with it.

Arc stars are the best thing since sliced bread, grab em and use them! The effort they leave makes finishing off those kills easier!

I too am not the best at this game but I got a bit carried away last night and pushed a squad but suddenly ran out of ammo (it was near rthe start) for my light ammo gun. The game auto switched me to my other gun which was a longbow. I managed to no scope the final member which I thought was awesome and something I'd probably never manage to do again. I felt godlike :)
