Was he lifeline?
Was he standing right next to a lifeline bot? or was the bot outside of visibility?
Did he have a yellow backpack and had halved his healing speed? Could quite easily get off a syringe or two mid battle, especially if he's lifeline where healing is already much quicker.
 
Dont think so to any of those, this was literallyin the madness of the first drop. Rufus might have a point, Ive switched damage to actual rather than accumulative so maybe that doesnt reflect shield value?Its fast, but if you slowed it down the damage amounts to errr 170, but same principle applies.

The screen looks washed out because of my messing around with geforce but only records it that way - couldnt play it like that lol. And yes, my aim sucks.
 
Interesting.

I don't understand why people use individual rather than accumulative (stacked) health readings. Why would you want to work it out yourself?
Also, your team mate is a good help! lol
He should be getting involved there, especially for a 2v1, even if he is low health.
 
Anyone else getting bugged character animations?

Noticing models sliding without limb animations..... :/

In other news, tonight's queues have been baaaaaad. 90 percent of my games over within 60 seconds and a squad who jumped into off-limits cliffs and died on the rejoin fight countdown. Oh and solo jumper heros.... Sigh

Game is so up and down for me. Must have had 6 in a row that lasted 5 minutes, and the only gun I saw in those 6 games was a g7 scout. Luck on the drop is a huge pain in the **** when it’s not on your side.

Finally had a good game and a hard fought 2nd place to finish the night.

Deffinitely some aimbotters on but not so many so not ruining the experience.

Do need to get on discord !
 
Had some pretty rough games last night - it feels like my FPS is lower than it was before the BP/ patch at times.

My aim is really up & down, one day it's great and the next it's like the characters are moving twice as fast :rolleyes:

I know what you mean. I’ve had drops where I’ve picked up an R301 and a Spitfire within a minute and others where I’ve got a blue stock, blue magazine, three grenades and enough shield batteries to light up a mansion but no shields and no weapons. Then someone comes round the corner packing a Devotion and I’m toast in seconds.
 
Decided to buy the battle pass as I've played over 100hrs in a free game. Felt I should contribute something to the game. Opened the first pack it gave me and got a legendary Gibraltar skin, it looked awesome but come on...I'm never going to use it!
 
You say that, but 2000+ xp for using legends you don't often use is an excuse enough to use the big man
I spent last night cycling through a few leges to get some free stuff, 500 for first kill of the day with each too

i don't rate the hitreg in this game at all. had too many instances of hits registering on my screen but the 'enemy' char not dying when they definitely should. as a sort of confirmation i had an instance recently where i shot at a team mate 3 times - i see the impact on my screen (2 headshots butobviously no damage done) but on their side the shots missed. make of that what you will but it tells me all i need to know about the game. in similar fashion, spectating a stream i watch the player empty 2 full mags of ammo (301 or r99 can't remember which - but light ammo weapon) into an 'enemy' with somewhere in the 90% hit rate (from what i can see) yet the enemy player doesn't go down. saw that happen several times. that's just wrong and to me, indicative of a broken game.
 
Well, it's really the right way to do it, and it all works out fine as long as there's not too much latency
They are having problems with the netcode etc, but can't say I've really had many problems.
 
The hitreg and tick rate in the game aren't the best but generally I haven't had huge cause for complaint. It's an even playing field for everyone and no doubt sometimes you've been 'saved' by the netcode too.
 
I think if hitreg was that much of an issue, we'd be seeing it just as much from the pros/streams.
I don't see any issues with hitreg.

Oh really? Haven't really read into everything in it yet, so maybe I'll have to mix it up a bit and stop whoring out on lifeline :)

Yeah, I got something like 2 games with 2k+ then a game of 1.5k, then 500, then 200,
Then I swapped to Caustic, did it again :P
then Gibbo
rinse and repeat tonight I hope haha
 
Apologies to both MissChief and Nutsnut for last night. I experienced a total loss of phone service in our area, which meant my fibre broadband connection died. That’s never happened in all the time I’ve lived here. I literally lost connection just as you’d picked up my banner and were talking about ressing me!
 
Had a win last night with inno and clem we played aggressive and it paid off, I managed to snag a gold armour too.

Then had some more games with clem and ro got close with some awesome firefights

Good games guys :)
