Apocalypse Happened would you?

Well my plan would be to stack up on tinned foods and bottled water, grab all my rifles,shotguns and ammunition and give each adult family member one,then get to somewhere remote but defendable. Saying that, living in east anglia is pretty much a death warrant in the event of a nuclear attack due to the air bases in the area which would be primary targets.-oh well ;)
 
firstly would be Hubby, water, food, dogs, 4x4, and go as far rural as possible to avoid diseases etc. Then storage, weapons, then glean other strong men and women to join apha band to survive. create basic structure and rules.

Actually I remembered that I thought about this before, and my place of work would actually be quite good.
It is a secure building with not many windows, plenty of mechanical things to build something or use as weapons.
Only problem is food as the canteen is in a separate building but it should be fun to make daily trips there or if not I can move everything over.

Only a few miles from home as well and fairly remote.

I think I have a winner.
 
Anyone ever thought of creating a base at a local gym/swimming pool. No one will go there and with the correct chemicals you can neutralise the chlorine in the poola nd you will have a pretty decent water supply :D

Plus you could get buff at the gym and be ready for any raids/zombie attacks. Go out once in a while to gather food and weapons then i would probably go on an all out zombie fighting mission for entertainment.

If that fails I will just hide in a cave in Wales somewhere.
 
1st grab my khukri from the loft perfect for doing damage to mindless zombies(as proven in recent news) or scaring the local survivors from giving me to much hassle.

hop in our gas converted 4x4 fill both petrol and gas tanks and head to work where we have loads of the office water bottles in store should last untill can secure survival kits and med supplies and better weapons from local airforce base.

then head onto wales i'm sure even zombies wont be desperate enough to cross into wales beating that heading to the coast and stealing a cruise ship. anchoring just offshore and live onboard occasionally using the on board jetski's to do shore raids for supplies and retreiving survivors whom want to live aboard my floating haven. all people wanted to join would be asked to give up weapons into storage for raiding parties , weapons wont be needed onboard for anyone other than law enforcement.

Norwich Castle would be my new home, dungeons for badies, great vantage points, secure, and i'd fill it with busty maids.

I'd venture into the nuke bomb area for relics lol, i think that what people will want, dirty contaminated relics just like stalker.


I'd like to build a bunker when i move to a house with a bit bigger garden. There's a lot of MOD bunkers still around, room for a small family.

Or there's some nice ww2 sea defence gun platforms near me, with a big underground network between the two platforms, would be ace.

I'd take apocalypse over work any day.
