Well I'm surprised Samsung haven't matched the Retina Display by now already, seeing as they make the panels...

Well this is the first retina display on a tablet, the iPad and iPad2 have had quite low resolutions compared to the competition, Samsungs event is ment to only be two days away. Will be interesting to see if they delay this event.

Also the phones uses different screen technology, LCD vs OLED, I seriously doubt they can push OLED screen resolutions this high.
