Apple vs Samsung, court orders Samsung to show Apple 5 new phones

Look like Apple bully Samsung plus others included HTC Adobe... Adobe still fighting with Apple for not using Flash player as Apple seem broke anti-monopoly law.. it should leave toi people to choose which one to buy and afford how much it cost -- Apple cannot sell as sole market... should leave it as choice which one. I always hate Apple cos it so boring - never like it.
 
It would be nice if this got out of hand and then governments might tighten up patent law.
When's the court cases for the Europe wide tab ban?
Or perhaps they should just all merge, android can't make tablets and apple can't use wifi..

Apple are seriously bringing the pain.

Though it's probably not smart to upset all the big companies at once, go through them one at a time... :x

Being serious for a second, I don't think you're a bad guy but your hatred of Apple is absolutely ridiculous and you embarrass yourself with it. Just a heads up before you go off on one again. :p

I totally get that some people might not like aspects of Apple's business model, or the products, but obsessively hating them is pointless. I think everyone would agree on that.

Lol, yeah I hate apple and I have stated many times before why that is (and as stated before the reasons I stated are the same for pretty everyone else in this world who don't like apple), not so much the products but the company.

Why would I be embarrassed of stating what I think of a company and their methods, which again **** pretty much every one off?

And if you truly aren't a wee bit bias to apple, can you honestly not say that this whole suing thing that there doing to pretty much every company that has android handsets is extremely petty (especially the whole "oh but it looks the same and is the same shape")? And is starting to come across like they are scared of just how popular android is and is continuing to do so?

Surely even the most strongest apple fanboy must know that the above is true? (not saying that your the strongest apple fanboy btw:p)

And seriously what is going to happen now since google seems to be buying a xxxx load of patents to protect themselves (with good reason to), apple won't be be able to win the mobile war/sales etc. any more by just simply getting things banned in places.


Maybe the reason why the iphone 5 isn't out yet, is cause apple are too busy concentrating on all this suing and who they should sue next and for what reason :p

No, that is just as pointless. However, there aren't that many people that obsessively love them, it's just an old stereotype.

And yes Nexus, I agree completely that all this suing should just stop, however any other company would do the exact same thing if they were in a position to do so. This just gets more coverage because it's Apple and it gets more people's backs up because the people that dislike Apple are generally quite a vocal bunch. Your average consumer probably knows nothing about all of this.

I certainly don't think they are scared, Apple still dominate the top end of the smartphone market and that isn't going to change for a while yet (if at all). Tablets even more so. At the low-mid end though, Android and Symbian are running riot as you would expect.
 
You think? There are quite a few on these forums that would fit into the obsessively loving section unfortunately.

TBH I don't know why people get that way with companies. Buy what is best for you at the time not because it is from the company you love. Thinking off hand I think all my major electrical items (from phone to alarm clock, laptop/computers to monitors and TV/sound systems etc.) are made by different manufacturers.. Manufacturer had nothing to do with the purchase, unfortunately there are a lot of Apple users (and other manufacturers users, google starting to become one) that will only buy something from Apple if they sell something that does that job. Now a single company really can't make a range of things that really do fit exactly with you and the other several million buying the same products... You are not all clones (although you probably are all really boring).

Anyway back on topic... It's quite interesting to see how the Microsoft has taken a totally different approach to all this patent infringement. Apple have gone in all guns blazing, trying to get stuff banned left, right and centre while MS have gone slow and steady slowly coming to licencing agreements with a number of companies running Android. No massive lawsuits or many article lines just what appears to be quiet negotiation.

You really havnt met someone who likes apple then cause from my experience the people who like an apple products would die by it they obsessively love apple to the point that its getting stupid. I have family members friends been waiting 6+ months for the new iPhone and they dont even know if it will be a worth while upgrade over an iPhone 4. One of my friends told me iPhone was best because it was HD and when I asked him what HD meant he had no clue. Apple are really good at getting that hype that someone loves the products so much that even if the new iPhone was worse than an iPhone 4 I'm sure it would sell like crazy.

I didn't say there weren't any people like that, just that the majority of people with some Apple products aren't actually like that.

Just because your friends are clueless doesn't make them obsessive Apple lovers, it just makes them ignorant - we're all ignorant about some things.

I have family members and friends waiting for the new iPhone too, they've tried my Galaxy S II, my HTC Sensation, my Optimus 3D, and they all say the same thing - "the big screen is nice but oh my god the software is nasty/there's too much stuff on it".

Well to be fair most of my android friends are kinda crazy in love with it to they just now more about these stuff. And the problem with a lot of my mates with iPhone is that they dont even try anything else at all. When the senstation/SGS II was being released I was like to a few of them might be a good time for update but there all the same and just say we want iPhone 5. I guess its just the people I know and not everyone but there really crazy about there iPhone's and dont even give anything else a chance.

Personally im trying to be less of a fan boy, more for android but I just want a phone that has around a 4" screen and some 720p goodness now. I like both android and iOS tbh and they both get the job done.

Finally one thing I dont get is all this talk about who android is so complicated. Its not to much different from an iPhone it just has a home screen but if u click the app launcher its the same thing. You get a list of your applications. Texting/calling is just as easy and settings on most things are the same if not a bit easier with a hardware button for it. Maybe its just me but I think it just something people say cause its not exactly what there used to and not really the truth.
 
I don't think it's complicated either, but then it's hard to imagine how someone that isn't tech-savvy thinks, they're probably just comfortable with the iPhone. In fairness, your average consumer wouldn't use any of the more advanced features on Android so a lot of it is wasted on them anyway.

Guess that's true and apple just have a much better marketing team that shows everything being easy on TV for some cases its actual true when I first saw facetime I thought WOW apple took video calling and tried to make it something new but its something google cant do properly with there vid chat and something I wish I had now xD.
 
Apple is no better then MS, Samsung, Sony, Google, LG, Audi, VW, Logitech, Tarmac, HSBC, Barclays etc ect

They are all crap and they are all good.

I drive an Audi. Its does not make me love Audi. Its just a car with a badge on it.

Likewise with Phones. They ALL do the same thing in they own different ways.

I dont like Apple yet i have a 3GS. I like Android yet i couldnt get on with a SG2.
