Out of interest, Did anyone else jump the gun and sell their current GPU before launch in anticipation of prices dropping and now have a big 'ol paper weight. Former GTX1080 owner.

Yup sold my 1008ti on the bay for £350 a few weeks before launch. Didn't think I would be 2 weeks post launch and still no card but here we are! I'm just going to wait it out and from what I can tell I'm hopeful of seeing it in October.

Ah, weird, order number for me is 58615** and I got mine in at 15:09 on the 17th and payment confirmation by 15:22 and I doubt for one second I'm getting one from the next batch

I made that mistake already once in the past, so this time no I didn't.
I was supposed to give my GTX980 to my brother's kids though, but this isn't happening until I get a RTX3080 in my hands now. Obviously, I have now lost the title of "The Fun Uncle".

Yes to both, the Non OC TUF some went out early in this fiasco and a few days later, same with Palit Non OC multiples of those have gone out over the days.
This is going by posts on here of people receiving dispatch notes and getting them delivered.

Recent Palits were not even reported as coming in, in the supposed update thread, same for some Ventus and others.

I know theres been no update on Palit, Gibbo mentioned the Palit 3090's but nothing for 3080. Im patient and willing to wait, just like to know if theres stock coming in. And I dont want my mate to wait too long for my 2070 super.

Yes, which is why this release has annoyed more than usual! I’ve been without a PC since mid-August

Yep!!! worst part is i stream daily on twitch and edit YT vids havnt been able to since the 15th im going crazy.... First time i've ever tried to buy a PC part on day one and i dont think it'll be something i do again after this experience.

It's literally in the post you quoted?
I would say that mass e-mail is a slightly risky thing to do quickly in case you get suspected of spamming, though there are generally ways around it if you're not used to it it can be tricky.
...seems like OcUK should have ways and means, though, given that they have a newsletter et al.
