A few days ago I nagged about the fact that people get in front of other (the whole swapping scheme) and that I wonder when I'll be getting my TUF OC... so today I received this:
I'd seen people mention EVGA were focussing on the US and obviously OCUK isnt listing their cards, but I think this is the first time I've seen a retailer confirm it. RIP my FTW3 order I guess...

Can't you turn the internal GPU on in your processor so you can work a bit until it comes?
Judging by the plethora of answers here, nobody received their queue positions yet. But, looking at the message I received, they might send them personalized, like regarding each order and not via some .csv made on a server somewhere.
Well lads, cancelled my 3080 Eagle order earlier today as a local store are letting me put a deposit down for a card, and giving me a 2070 I can use until then. (My 1080ti died early september)
Ordered at 17:01, hopefully that means one of you get a card that little bit sooner. Now I can stop lurking here haha

Total BS as many before have swapped cards in this topic alone and I do not think they was all EVGA. Infact evidence I have saved we got a MSI swap, Gigabyte Swap, another MSI swap... Many believed me when I said I managed to get my 3080 FE ordered and it was already dispatched which was about 5 minutes before the launch. Was funny to see
I decided to build a whole new rig with a 3080 as my son is using the now old one all of the time and fed up with the laptop. The old rig which is a Piledriver with SLI GTX980's is now no longer SLI - until the 3080 comes through anyway.
Looking forward to running a comparison benchmark on this new setup with the 3080 compared with the 980s in SLI mode to see how far apart they are.

Lol, yeah. I'm getting quite used to the way it rolls around here. Not that bothered, as I'm rapidly losing interest. I told myself if I don't hear any positive communication by the 1st Oct, then I'm out!
Will give it 'til 5pm then I'll just see what the months ahead will bring.

Yeh i've been doing that I've been streaming just chill out streams watching vids ect talking to chat, playing games is a no go whist streaming but i can get some running on low settings but the quality is so bad i havnt bothered, encoding and editing vid for YT just takes a life time atm without a gpu.

So how screwed am I with an early EVGA black "preorder"? they aren't gonna fulfill it..?
Were they swaps from non-OC to OC versions as the email also says they allowed?
Ive got at the moment an i5 4690K,32gb ddr3 2400, Asrock Z97 pro, PSU RM750 . im just hoping ¡ can use the card there until i get updated (if i can play 2k 70-80fps till renew im more than happy) so far im using a 970 which is more than burnt (longest card ever and still rocking quite poorly i have to say)
So i know about bottleneck and i know i will need update. Just waiting to see new ryzen so i can decide (so far im between 3700x or a 10700k but not really sure if the small fps increase will be worth) . what are your though guys ?
What cooler are you using for your cpus? ive been always using fans Evo212 or similar, never used a water cooling afraid of getting components broken if the pump gets broken
Ive got waiting the surge2,control, rdr2, doom, the fallen order, deathstranding and soon will come cyberpunk or the new nier in april (cant even think on elden ring or demons souls as i dont think sony will let that happen)
just doing time before our cards come
