Does anyone know what is happening with regards to the deals of free years membership to geforce now and the watch dogs legion codes. Are they being sent out after the card has been sent from OCUK. Would be nice to have a new game to play whilst I wait for the card, but I am guessing that is not going to happen due to being open to abuse from cancellations?
Nope that is purely down to @Gibbo to respond.

I've never seen EVGA 30x0 cards go up on the EU site but I have seen a US drop at least once. That JacobF guy on Twitter has talked about more US drops this week too, and ignored my tweet asking about EU. That would appear to back up what OCUK have said - rather candidly - in that email.

Given that OCUK are taking orders for the other manufacturers and have EVGA cards showing as "See Details" - the situation does look pretty grim.

If I had 3 wishes I would love to give you all RTX 3090's folks! :D My other 2 wishes would be world peace and a personal McDonalds to myself.

Well i hope you honour the first two first as you might not survive long after the last item, all that cholesterol.. :D

I would go for immortality, at this rate I may need it to see a 3080 in my PC.

And here starts the capitalistic conundrum: if you "punish" EVGA with your wallet, they will feel reinforced in their idea that Europe is just a secondary market for them, and will sell even less EVGA cards here.
We can turn it around. They've had my money for PSUs and GFX cards in the past (this is actually the first time I've taken part in a launch, I usually buy later). Yet they still did this. The fact we keep paying them, is equally as likely to drive their contempt.

That you sir, may I have another?

In terms of keeping the order. I'll keep the pre-order unless I see stock actually in elsewhere. Keeping the EVGA as my only option is purely a lottery in terms of when I might see it.

Re: Swapping cards. If they knew EVGA weren't going to be delivering any time soon (and the fact they took them off pre-order VERY early on and didn't list 3090s is telling that they knew). Why didn't they mass email to let us know? Why no post on the forum? Instead they let anyone (even those that were getting deliveries but for which people were "just a bit back in the queue") swap freely until today, when there's now no exceptions.

I didn't have a problem with OCUK taking money on pre-orders until now. But they're willfully withholding information here. And I think that's not on.

I have never been sure about Palit. Been ordering MSI since replacing my Voodoo2, except for a short spell of Inno3D 8800GTX as they were a lot cheaper as I was able to get them direct. Switched back to MSI though from the 280GTX until now switching to ASUS - my first ASUS GPU, eventually.

I am just hoping a couple of containers will arrive with 10s of ks on board soon and we will all get our cards as I did not make up my mind to buy until 21st.
Palit have a downmarket reputation here. They`re seen as the Primark of graphics cards- relatively cheap but serviceable. This is because they haven`t established
much of a market share in the West. They are in fact one of the bigger manufacturers in Asia. I`ve had a couple before, and never had an issue. A Palit will see you onto the mean
streets of CP2077 in all it`s glory.
Enjoy

As per the information from Nvidia:
1. GeForce NOW is redeemed via the redeem.nvidia.com
2. The game is redeemed via the GeForce Experience in your PC, AFTER you have installed the RTX 30 Series in your system, as it looks for it specifically. So, having the code will not suffice. You'll need the card installed to have it work.

NOT A COMPETITOR QUESTION.

How are other stores having more stock than OCUK ? Or other stores simply have less orders coming in compared to OCUK? again, NOT A COMPETITOR QUESTION. JUST A GENERAL MARKET QUESTION.

I thought as much. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Have ordered an ASUS strix and hoping it maybe an early xmas present to myself but it is more likely looking like a new year/I survived 2020 present.

Have finally found evidence of kfa2's existing outside of asia!! Have seen a broken one on twitter and a English review pop up a few hours ago on hexus so hopefully we see stock hitting oc soon!

We dont yet know if other stores did have more stocks or not as the people who ordered yesterday (myself including) are waiting for a shipping notification. While some people have had their order cancelled, and some have had it shipped...most are just waiting and we should find out by end of today if it was the real deal or not. If they indeed did have a larger stock then it'd be down to their position as being a bigger store allowing them to be prioritised over smaller stores like ocuk, who has to rely on paid pre orders for bargaining rights, even if majority of the pre orders in UK are from PC stores like ocuk.

My experience with Palit has been good with a 2060 and a 1660 super. That they perform and cool great, look terrible and cost at the lower end of the market. Kind of no frills with a big cooler strapped to it :)

Not even "one of" they are flat out the biggest manufacturer in the world and sell considerably more than MSI, EVGA, ASUS combined.

My 1080 was a Palit Jetstream, performed well, was super quiet and cool. And it looked nice too.

Seen this a lot in many areas. If a company wants to be seen as an 'International company', they need to back that up and act like one. The company I work for needs reminding of this periodically too.

Buying power, pure and simple. Like any negotiation between suppliers it simply comes down to a simple calculus about who needs whom more.
