Nice shower in the morning to wake me up, wouldn't have a second shower though unless really needed as it just dries your skin out.

Twice a week might be pushing it but showering every day isn't a necessity. I'm pretty bad with bedsheets though, I hate wrestling with them trying to get the sheet on properly.

I don't know how people can do it... I typically shower twice a day (evening and morning) otherwise I don't feel clean for bed or fresh when starting the day. Bedsheets need to be done every week to feel fresh.

I work from home and shower everyday without fail. It takes 4mins, suppose it helps I'm bald so no shampooing etc needed.

Plus I enjoy this on my ballsack and bell. It's like sex, without sex....

I know this feel, very tingly :D

I generally shower 2 - 3 times a week, however I live in a house with 4 others (missus and 3 kids) and only have one shower available.
If I applied the 2 shower a day mentality to the family that would be 10 showers a day which equates to say 40L per shower that's 400L of water used per day or 12,000L per month.
That works out at £40 per month for just showers.

I'm intrigued, do you have your own family i.e. a wife and kids, live on your own, or still live at home with your parents / university?

Why do you need to be clean for bed - Other than the obvious reason of not wanting to smell like a sweaty pig before sex

If you go to bed "clean" then you sweat in bed anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

At least once a day, sometimes twice. Occasionally I go one day without at the weekend if I am not doing anything, but the next morning I'll be straight in the shower!

Bed sheets however I do once every 2-3 weeks.

I found it to be more confortable. Pretty sure I got into the habit when on holiday where I didn't like the slightly sticky feeling against the bed sheets, I also dislike the feeling of wax in my hair at night.

Don't worry, I live in my own place and pay for the water and heating!

If I'm not at work and I'm not doing anything apart from hanging around the house and going to the corner shop etc then no. What's the point.

Shower at least once a day, also wash my hands dozens of times a day in work.

This more due to getting covered in very unpleasant chemicals that I think if left on for week at a time would end up causing a few health prroblems

Yes I'm always washing my hands.

It must be grim for the folk who shower twice a day yet never wash their hands in between.

Not worried in the slightest, however from that comment I assume that you live alone or at the least don't have children?

The point I was trying to make is that washing twice a day simply isn't an easy option for everybody depending on circumstances.

Edit: TBH - Even if I did live on my own I wouldn't shower twice a day.
