Are you a good morning riser?

if im warm... im ok

if i am looking forward to something... im ok

if im cold or not looking forward to something... i cant get up :(

I tend to set 3 alarms: one on the computer, one on my phone and an alarm clock. All at similar times. Normally when they go off, i just hit snooze, so eventually it goes off so many times that i get up.

if i set my alarm i can go from dead asleep to out the door in about 2 minutes if required. then about an hour later ill start feeling the effects and get really really tired

its weird

I used to do that with my phone and another alarm, but then I got a phone that only lets you snooze for half an hour before it gives up and I can turn an alarm to snooze in my sleep :(.

I am terrible at waking up and if disturbed whilst slumbering can often become enraged, but that's when I want a lie in on the weekend ;)

Normally unless I have something I think is worth doing or very pressing I won't wake up. Nor do I set an alarm as I'd rather feel fresh after waking up 'late' than like a pos or zombie for the rest of the day. If I have something new and exciting to do I'll be up easily. If not, then I find it extremely hard to wake up or even get out of bed.
But then again, I find it hard getting out of bed everyday, having to wonder whether it's worth it and then realising that it really isnt.(most of the time anyways)
Trouble is, that if you can't sleep at night then force yourself to wake up at an early or reasonable hour (not as an employed professional mind you) then it's incredibly hard.

i have my stereo set to wake me up and it's gets louder and louder until you turn it off. it never fails..... :)

unfortunately, one night i forgot about this and stayed out the night and then went straight to work the next day. i was walking home in the afternoon hearing some music blaring half way down the street thinking "who's that ****** making a racket". then i realised it was my stereo which had been on since 6am. :D

i can't believe no one in my shared house turned my electric off at the meter. :p

I find it difficult to get to sleep, then difficult to get up.

When I'm working I average around 3-4 hours sleep each night. I catch up on my days off though :)

Im the worst person to wake up! And I have to get up early most mornings :(
I tried putting the alarm up to it's loudest but I've now grown resistant to it's noise and I sleep right through it whilst waking the whole house up!
I tried moving it further away so I actually have to get up to turn it off but I can still keep my feet in bed and reach over and grab it :p

i'm not a morning person hence why i went for nights. Got fed up having to go to bed at set time to wake up a set time and twenty mins later leave house. now i get home at 7.10AM, bed around 9.30AM and get up whenever i want without a alarm which normally is 5.00/6.00PM in afternoon. if i want any extra sleep i just have a lie in.

Yes, I'm not lazy. Once my alarm goes I'm up like a shot. On the odd occasion when my alarm decides not to go off I can still wake up within 30 minutes either side of the elected time, which is especially strange since I have no discernable sleep pattern due to shift work.

I cannot believe it takes some of you are hour to get out of bed. That is laziness on a whole new scale.

So people are lazy because it takes them longer to wake up than other people?

Nice attitude you have there.

Yes. If it takes you 75 minutes to get out of bed you are disgustingly lazy. Some may be able to put it down to a strange medical disorder but I doubt it is the case in this instance.

Would you like a cherry and some icing sugar with this post? Did the big bad man on the internet offend you?
