Are you obese?

6ft2, 13stone 8lbs, BMI = ok according to the graph on the bbc website, 2lbs more and I'd be overweight :eek:

BMI is bloody useless though, it's 24.4% not taking into consideration my BF percentage at 11/12%.

Bearing in mind that i have muscular legs which do whack the weight up and im more of a stocky build i can safely say that i do need to loose weight and i am doing. :)
 
BMI is a pile of crap if you don't take into consideration body fat %age or muscle bulk etc...

I'm 6'1" and 14 1/2 stone ergo "overweight" which is a pile of rubbish - ask anyone that's met me.
 
My mate's 5'9" and 8.5 stone which is quite horrifying. He's been trying to put on weight for the last year or so—you should see the stuff he eats!—but he just can't do it.
 
I am pretty similar, 5'9 and 9 Stone. I eat plenty but no matter the amount I eat I can't put weight on. It's not like I don't know the theory of what to eat etc.. it just never seems to work. This weight stuffs all crap anyhow so long as you are happy :p

Im 6 feet tall and 16 stone 6 pounds :(

Technically Im obese by .37955...ermm...fat points :/

Im overweightdefinately, but I wouldn't say obese. I don't look particularly obese, or so Im told, but I am quite stocky and broad shouldered. That said Im still a bit podgy :/
 
5' 11", 11stone, 12lb - BMI 23.1 - healthy.

I have a bit of a belly, but I know I'll continue to have this as I drink beer and eat the occasional cake. My arms and legs are perfectly toned for what I do - swim and cycle.

Poor lifestyle tbh - lunch generally seems to be what ever is left in the sarnie fridge after the lunch rush :/ Thats the killer. Oh and since sitting on a checkout little to no exercise :(

Should really start a blog about losing the masses of weight I need to shed....
