Captured a fraps vid of an AV8B with trackir. First time flying fixed wing in ArmA 2 so no laughing

Fraps recording seems to kill my FPS in the air though so there is some stutter

does the trackir really make a difference in First person mode? btw the game looks stunning. im highly addicted to this game and its not good towards my wife lol.

I am. With kid. Thing I like about ocuk it's a bit more mature than other forums. That's not taking anything away from the more youthful on here, wouldn't have any targets without you guys!

So we switching to a proper Arma forum? Btw for your videoing needs FRAPS is a hog, I use guncam. Works well but hasn't been updated for a while.

mature? well there is one bloke here with a northern accent who swears a lot and is the most talkative out of us lol. hehe only kidding, that guy is cool and acts as a commander to us all as he does most of the talking.

aint the in built voip from the game any good?

To L33, I have sorted my frame rate issues - everything on very high I get 40-80 FPS, it can drop down to 20 at times but its liveable - however fraps rapes me and I go down to like 2 fps

What the problem was I had everything forced in my ATI control panel instead of application controlled (apart from the AI thing) Has improved my frame rate in everything.

Yea, thats what I am thinking, I think I will get on the server as soon as I get home or refresh until there is a space then jump on and stay on all night!

Definitely. Won't be on until later but I really enjoyed enemy that flanked! It was an all round buzz and the opportunity for ambushes and more varied combat is huge once we get to know the map.

for PvP it will really help if everyone is on TS too. I think the Reds were hampered last night as they had very few guys on comms

I would definitely be up for some more PvP, I have never been one to like fighting AI (apart from in this game)

can the player count be increased tonight to say umm 60 players for 30v30 PVP action?

I'd probably be on that list if I didnt leave mine on mute and spend half an hour talking before I realise.. :rolleyes:

I think bandwidth might be an issue with 30v30 - i think it was 15v16 last night?

I try and talk but always seem to start talking as someone else does so I try and stay quiet lol.

My main problem with the PvP is finding out who is the enemies, when you are in a tank or like 700 meters away sniping space just doesn't seem to work so I loose so many kills because I don't want to TK someone -.-

thats where we need better comms and good tactics. if we're organisedf properly and communicating well, you'll KNOW whether what you can see is friendly or enemy
