***ArmA 3 Thread***

Been playing on samatras chenarus wasteland servers the past couple of nights its been ace. A good day and night cycle, A small weapon pack adds some variety too even found some good teamplay on it too which is rare for wasteland.

would link the server group website & launcher DL but not sure if we can post links.Plus ive still not gotten used to this pen on my samsung note

They have made thier own launcher which downloads the correct version of the AiA map pack and also the weapon pack I mentioned.


Add me on steam if anyone fancies it. Normally mix this up with some A3 overpoch on CCG and sometimes the odd bit of A2

Finally bought this in the Steam sale last week. Not installed it yet, don't even have a gpu currently :( need to order new case, new ssd then a new gpu. In that order before I can get cracking but can't wait :D

Honestly not that much. TacBF is pretty much the only decent populated PvP mod at the minute.

Apart from that it's just organised events on the DTAS and Blitzkrieg missions.

Wasteland/KotH and all these horrendous survival/zombie missions are killing the old type of Arma.

Problem is Melbo people aren't interested in serious mission arma anymore as people take it far to seriously funny enough :rolleyes: The reason why wasteland and zombie mods are popular 3-4 of you can jump on ts for a few hours and have a laugh it's not so much fun on these big war v war game types so much.

I enjoyed king of the hill and other arma game modes a little but it just isn't as fun as having a little bandit group going on a rampage together for me personally.

I did enjoy the missions you organised back when arma 3 was in beta but only reason why is everyone knew near everyone else from back when you and marker had the server a bunch of unknowns isn't as fun.
 
Hi guys

I'm totally new to ARMA3 and so far i've only played Epoch and Capture the Island MP games. Could someone clue me in about missions, i.e where i get them and the best way to find servers running them?

Don't get confused with missions and mods buddy. For example wastelend is just a mission file which changes the game mode etc

Some missions require you to download certain mods and as you may need certain maps/models/features.

Best place to go is armaholic.com
 
Can anyone suggest an Altis life server? I played on the cpc server at the start before it became very much a police against rebel game.
I liked getting on and driving about making money, getting better vehicles and doing delivery missions etc... Obviously with the threat of being robbed.
 
CPC server was good then it went to hell as it was cops and rebels against unarmed civs all the time who could not shoot back, they just had to take it or be banned if they did shoot back or if they told the cops to stop breaking the rules so everyone left.
