***ArmA 3 Thread***

The lighting update came out today, subtle but some really nice touches like how water meets land now. Also if your legs are injured then you'll now limp!

Does anyone play this on a 4k monitor? Or 3440x1440, 'd be interested to hear what sort of performance you get with a spec similar to mine.

I play at 3440x1440. I don't have everything maxed though but played through one of the built-in campaigns last night and didn't have any performance issues with the new patch. A3 (and A2) are cpu hogs. I need to update my Exile server as they've a hotfix for that but that's a different issue (time).

Infin8 970, 3570K @4.3, 16Gb ram and SSDs for OS (win10) and game drives.

I play at 1440p with everything on Ultra with the default draw distances and i've been playing through the campaign with an average of 60-70 fps.

I did some co-op with my brothers over the weekend and in those maps i was getting 110-120 fps.

My spec is an i7 4930k, 32Gb DDR3, and x2 980ti's

Is that concrete is it?

God I hope it is....

few of us meeting at one of the lads house for a mini bbq lan July 15th... With any bit of luck EXO/MGT will have Tanoa up :d

Not concrete but I imagine that's the latest it will drop. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out while BI are doing their thing at E3 on 13th June.

Roll on Steam fixing the current issues that are not allowed those of us with Apex to already start playing around with Tanoa on Dev-Branch. Hopefully it will be fixed by the time I'm finished with work tonight!

Good morning!

Unfortunately the issue still isn't fixed, even after trying to get it sorted with our Steam partners during the night. Please know that there's nothing you can do now to correct this, no matter how often you verify your data. For unknown reasons, the Steam API is incorrectly telling the game client that you don't own Apex when you do. And Steam client isn't serving up the DLC-specific data. Those two factors may be connected.

We're obviously pursuing a solution with Valve as soon as possible, because even though Dev-Branch has always been an experimental daily build, we'd love for you to be able to explore Tanoa!

Been lurking on the BI forums for snippets of info for the last couple of weeks. Of course the ONE night I go away, they dump the lot onto dev branch out of the blue.

At least I for one am glad steam screwed it up, as long as its ready by tonight :)

Cool, i chouse the embed share of the video i posted above, but did not work, oh, and i wish they would have built a war torn country map instead, strange they chouse like a holiday island for what is a military sim, how i miss the old arma 2 maps, all i can see this map being used for, is thouse crappy life/role play mods, thank god for Squad for that.
