Being issued a parking ticket by some guy in a Rozzer outfit, who then proceeded to demand to see my driving licence, was one of the most surreal experiences I've had in Arma 3.
Still, all good and fun for those who enjoy it - Arma caters for all it seems. But those Life/RP servers are definitely not for me.

I just hope its not too big... Really wanting a new decent map for Exile!
I know its bigger than Altis, but most of it has landmass that isn't for anything and lots of water between the islands!

i want to buy this game but im not realy sure yet. my only problem is battleeye , is it good at stopping cheats?
i had played wasteland and DayZ with arma 2 , still realy didnt trust battleeye then lol.
has it been made better since?
this is the only thing that is stopping me from buying the game.

im thinking of buying the game , the last arma i played was arma 2 . used that for DayZ and wasteland.
my only problem is i didnt realy like battleeye with arma 2, has it been made better since?

are there any kind of "official" servers?
They did have End Game and Zeus official servers but they are all down at the minute. Official doesn't mean much though, even they didn't have their filters set up correctly and were recently attacked.
If you're after pure pvp then servers at the minute are the TacBF and EUTW PVP Warfare servers.
Coop I would recommend BECTI (the one ran by the OFPS guys is great even though it's over in the US) and the AhoyWorld Invade and Annex servers.

I don't play Arma anymore but someone who does told me you can't go in any of the buildings? That would be disappointing.

Ahhh. Hope you remember me and my coding ways haha. I stopped with Arma though and having years of experience with C++ and C# wanted to give things like Unity and Unreal a go. I don't miss that SQF, ew,

Stick to good servers, do some research. I've not come up against any hackers in arma 3... Apart from the odd script kiddie, admins are quick to roll back an hour and ban
Again... you hear very little about battleye issues these days
Its not... you can enter most small buildings and majority of large buildings with limited access... i.e not 300 rooms of a hotel are open.
