In that case you should NOT play FEAR 2 or Killzone 2 (PS3). I get it easily with either of those two games.

Just had a very quick go in the mission editor. My first experience of the demo and arma2 was to parachute into the map and take in the world. Wow!

My gtx295 seems to swallow this game up! I max'd everything out and pushed AA to 8x. It looks amazing and my fps is stable. good times.

just lower the head bob in the ption, it was far too much when i first tried but with it set at its lowest it's not that bad.

From day one just used the most obvious choice that appealed to me. Really, really couldn't imagine using other keys now. Don't know how others use wasd but I guess its what you get used to.


Btw, steam demo died during download for some reason, will try again later.

I wish there was a tutorial, I was having difficulty getting to drips, it's confusing I was running around like a headless chicken, I could not even order the other people in my team, I was playing offline.

Everytime I double click to start installing the demo nothing happens. I just get the Vista circle of light rotating endlessly. Task manager basicallly say nothing is running. Running as an Administrator doesn't work either.

Downloading from Steam to see if that works.

Barmyllama, the install takes ages to start!

I was thinking the same as well until it finally started off. But once the setup window appeared the intall itself was very quick.

Installed it last night, but left it as I got the missing DLL error as well. Will apply the fix this evening and check it out.

Have you not done any of the Boot Camp stuff? That's as close to a turorial as you will get.
