35 buttons to do simple tasks.

as for people who say it looks amazing :rolleyes:

its ok but nothing to write home about.

the controls are pure wrong it takes a hr to do a basic thing. just feeels like a console port gone wrong. if you like action dont get it.

Yes, kind of. Compared to Arma2, BF2 is like playing with a fluffy kitten that shoots love-hearts out of its mouth and miaows in a cute way.

The controls arent that overwhelming, whether for infantry or vehicles its all based around wasd, many commands can be carried out with the space bar for quick actions or the number keys for more detailed orders. This really is a game where you get out what youre prepared to put in.

If you can get past its clunkiness and the admittedly annoying ai theres an amazing game in there as well as a sandbox/framework for which the community produces some incredible missions and mods.

Is kinda clunky but im sticking at it at the moment just done the helicopter training. Blimey! they take some controlling :eek:

after a few dead copters ive learned to be patient now as rough and ready will not do in a copter lol.
Is there anyway to reduce motion blur? i hate it makes my lcd look like a prototype lcd from years ago lol

,why oh why do they think its a cool effect i never know.....

Looks like the 8Gb Ram issue........ have a look on the BIS forum, you can either take some memory out, or edit something so that it your machines only sees and uses less than 8Gb.

I agree. Motion blur is awful. I always switch it off, if possible.

tried the Demo but cant seem to play online, every server i try to connect i get connection failed, anyone else geting this problem? (anyone tell me if there is online i cant get my game to connect online)

I use my xbox pad for the choppers and its much better.

choppers are actually quite good, bf2 choppers basically fly themselves. desert combat's were the best though

my ps3 controller shows up in the control options, does that work on the pc as i thought it never?

Maybe it isnt what i was expecting, but this game is horrible. Runs smooth on my hardware, but everything is so complex (which is proberbly its niche market). For the life of me i couldt fly that heli ahah

Not my cup of Tetley's either. Tried with similar titles before, but I just can't get into the more sim-style shooters. I just can't find any fun in them. Oh, and those voiceovers will probably haunt my dreams - they're terrible!
