Yes, faster paced WoT is about right. Sometimes the games felt too fast in fact.

I think it has potential and could be a good game when the rough edges are smoothed out (this is only early access after all) but all of those people portraying this as some sort of messianic saviour for those disgruntled with WoT may be disappointed.

Hopefully get my T62 or Patton tonight if the test goes ok.

If you paid then yes, currently on Early Access 3 which is available until the 14th of this month, sessions for the EU are 17.00 - 23.00 and fri 17.00 - sun 23.00, they've just added the pve in this round of testing.

This any good then? I play WOT a lot and really don't want to start another grindfest for something that ultimately just turns into another WOT clone with new tanks.

This is basically what it is. It's faster paced and has a few tweaks (such as better balanced arty), but it is essentially WoT with more modern tanks.

I think from what Jingles was saying the PvE element of Armored Warfare show huge promise.

I also would hope that A.W. learn from WoT and dont go the whole money grabbing, gold ammo/power creep/dumb down route that wrecked WoT.

Had a fair few games over 3 hours . Looks very promising .

To say its Alpha i cant really say much as a lot can change .

Positives

Graphics - Ultra really does look good and still improvements to be had in the beta by all accounts

Selection of Tanks - Modern Tanks , driving round in my Brit Scorpion and LAV love it . Modern selection of MBTs higher tiers

Ease of Play - Faster games , Pick it up after a couple of rounds .

HUD - Really like the targeting system and if you Spot a tank and designate it . A target HUD appears . When you have things like Arty and Laser Guided Missiles flying at you , you get a warning .

Negatives

Grind - Its Alpha i know but this will lose them players if they don't fix the grind , no need for a 150+ game grind for tier 4-5 , you want it to just come and not feel like a chore

Player Base - Again its alpha but just 150 players in the Queue , but this will improve no doubt in Beta

Server Issues - Rubber Banding / High ping in a couple of games

Most of these will be fixed . Like i said its Promising

hey when is the next beta test happening? hopefully after two weeks time since thats when i get paid wouldn't mind buying it then play or find somewhere that may have free keys

Pretty good , def better than WOT , some buildings you can knocked down with tanks , smoke looks good arty shells incoming look good .

Alpha so sure too get improved , notice that fully zoomed out some kind of sharpness error it highlights all edgys gets on my ****.
