Army of the Dead

I stopped watching at the introduction of the safe cracker, I just can't get over why you need a safe cracker to crack your own safe

My theory on this is because its not Tanaka pulling the strings, my theory is that it is the safecracker, Dieter who is the key behind everything. I dont think Dieter died at the vault and whats more I think that Dieter knew that Van had been bitten and was going to become the "new" Alpha when the nuke came and pushed him into the safe , not to save him, but to preserve him so that he could go on to become the new Alpha. Given that Dieter is the lead character in the upcoming prequel (Army of Thieves) , I think we will find out a lot more about him in that. I dont think that Dieter is what he appears to be. Which would also explain why he turns out to be an extremely good shot having supposedly never used a gun before. He's the key to everything and all will be revealed

Watched this last night and while I’m normally a sucker for all things zombie, this was absolute gash. At best I could push it out to a 4/10 but that’s giving 2 points for the zombie tiger - it was cool - and 2 points as the action was ok(ish)
Bad film imo with very few redeeming features.

Watched this today, not the best film I've ever seen, but it's a good, fun, action movie.

This was my feelings tbh, few massive plot holes even if you don't think too much about it - even compared to some of the Fast & Furious movie stuff this had some daft moments... and some bizarre moments that will probably be explained with the wider universe (terminator zombie?)

The dead pixel thing is unforgivable though, I've got about 10 clips on my phone and a half written email to Richer Sounds over here...

That terminator zombie on the casino floor was a bit of an oddity. Was surprised it didn't come into the story at all

I don't think Richer Sounds were involved in the filming so it's not worth sending that mal.

 It wasn't until I'd started downloading dead pixel test clips that I realised the program I threw on afterwards didn't have the same problem

Was that intentional on their part?!
Whilst not intentional (apparently a malfunction in the film) but surely someone should have picked up on this before it went live on Netflix and if they can replace an actor in post production surely a pixel fix should be within the realms of possibility :p

That's all well and good but you shouldn't need the next movie to make sense of the 1st when the next isn't even in production yet, that's just poor writing, I ended up trying to watch some more of it last night but again another dumb moment
where they just stand there watching the woman fight the zombies and do nothing to help her and all she does is tell them to go without telling them that the shady guy got her killed

Combined with the obnoxious bokeh (I love bokeh when it's appropriate) I just can't take any more it's possibly the dumbest written and filmed movie I've ever watched, it even makes "The Room" a well written story, hell it makes the Resident Evil series of films a masterpiece

No thats right, you shouldnt, but sometimes you do. It wouldnt be the first film where the supposed good guy hasnt been shown to actually be the bad guy with his own agenda until a later film has revealed the additional info (including some very big movies indeed)

For me, the film was pretty much what I expected, a popcorn zombie flick, which made little sense (99% of zombie and horror flicks make no sense to me, every person in 99% of horrors seems to be a complete tool) and thats what I got. It was enjoyable in a brain off way, its not like I was expecting Band of Brothers or the Godfather :D

Watched it last night. Apart from the last 30mins, it was meh.

That's where it fell apart the most!

Zombies everywhere, let me take this moment to tell you that i have always loved you and maybe we could start something when we get out of h.......................*snap*
