No don't think so Black Canary doesn't have a sister iirc. It all made up in this production.

There were 2 canary's but it was mother and daughter. with the latter being the more recognised with Green Arrow and JLA. She also has powers.

As stated above. There are or were (depending on which continuity you go for) two Black Canaries. Dinah Drake Lance was the first with the Justice Society Of America and her daughter, Dinah Laurel Lance was the 2nd Black Canary with the Justice League Of America and Birds Of Prey.

For the purpose of this show, they created Sara Lance.

You mean "speedy"? She gets called that a bunch of times in the first season.

Up to episode 9 of the first season. And he can't act unfortunately, Stephen Amell that is. And it's not even an opinion, it's observation. He can't even stand properly! He doesn't know what to do with his arms!

Still watching because I've heard it gets better. But so far pretty much every other actor on the show is better then he is.
