US: Arrow (Season 4)

Utterly terrible recent season. The story makes no sense. Diaz is the most pathetic bad guy in existence. At least Deathstroke was menacing.
Agreed, S5 was pretty decent but this one was mostly crap. All the needless inter team drama that seemed so pointless. And diaz appearing as the main bad guy with about 6 episodes left seemed weird. He was just some random dude, Oliver should have been able to kick his **** in easily considering all the past people he's beaten.

LOL - amazing how bad this show has become.
Used to be my favourite show of the week, now it's just background noise while I browse the internet.
Can't see it lasting much longer.

Saying that, Flash is just as bad (if not worse).
Supergirl had a good first season but season two is more of a relationship angst show.

Diaz was a joke big bad, totally agree that Oliver should have taken him down easily. When a show has to dedicate an episode to try and explain how much of a threat this guy was, then you know you have a problem. Previous big bads didn't need that because we could see that clearly.

On the good news front at the least EP's have left the program and a new show runner is in place. The cast in interviews seem much more positive going forward than I have seen them for a while. TBH, I don't think that they were too sorry to see them go.

He can take on and hold his own against Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins and can beat Damian Dhark yet he can't take down some angry street thug with no powers. They do the same in The Flash, he's The Flash yet for some reason his powers seem to vary. I mean, he's fast enough to be able run back through time and to move through the world so quick as even the detonation of a nuclear device appears to be stationary yet the next episode he can't dodge a punch or beat some crappy villain of the weak. Like when The Thinker sent that laughable robot Samurai, why didn't he just take it apart and leave it in pieces before it even managed to draw it's sword?

Yup, this.

100% - they just can't seem to make up their mind on the skill/power level of their heroes. Oliver should have dismantled Diaz without even trying; Ra's Al Ghul went unbeaten for centuries... Oliver's managed what? 6 months before being smacked down?

that the way of comics and things like this though, each time they try and up the ante by bringing in a more awesomer villain, and then realise they're so awesomer that there's no way the hero could logically win - or, they give the hero some awesome superpower [like hyperspeed] then realise it logically could negate any threat situation whatsoever so the get-outs just become silly and implausible.
gave up an Arrow, which is a shame cos i loved the first couple seasons. was fantastic when he was a hardcore vigilante and the action was grounded in reality and martial arts - soon as they started bringing in the meta humans and crap i thought it just spoiled it. stuck w/ it far longer than i should have, but finally gave in. too many damn crossover eps w/ that Flash crap that i don't watch, so i'd blithely switch on an episode and find out i didn't know WTF was going on cos the first part of the plot had happened in another series.

You have to put all those 'issues' on to one side and switch off to really enjoy arrow, supergirl and flash and just about any hero show out there.

But I do have to admit Arrow, Flash and supergirl didn't feel the same these seasons around you can see they tried and we could see the green arrow become more of a lone wolf again which is good.

Supergirl is kinda 70% romance series as previously said but it has its moments if its was just supergirl the budget would be gone in 5 episodes.

The one show that I did like was legends of tommorow, its unique in that it can do things the other shows do and not have any set of rules or story lines.

She has had loads of cosmetic surgery. You can tell by the way her face hardly moves. Not saying she doesn't look good for her age but she looked waaaaay better in Smallville… Especially in that star spangled bikini...

You want a nice bit of cougar? Check out how incredible Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia from BTVS) looks at the moment. Double Drool!

I know... I always had a thing for her. I know she was older but she is a stunning woman in my opinion. Did you know they did a reunion for Entertainment Weekly? I couldn't take my eyes off her... Anyway, along with the talk of a reboot there has apparently been talk of a continuation with the characters that survived the finale. It would be set 15 years after...
