I think I must have just been 'unlucky' that year, I even enquired about similar courses (such as straight economics, figuring AAB with A in econ would be ok) but was told that they were oversubscribed across the board.

Looking back on it now my best option might have been to refuse to go to my insurance/backup university, take a gap year and apply again, as a confirmed 28pts at A-level would have appealed to most unis.

My results are weird.

I'm doing this Btec National Diploma App and Design.

I got all passes and 2 merit's, 1st year passed of AS Level 3 I think it is, but aint exactly proud of my grades, was either pass, merit or distinction.

Dont know my results in detail, coz my dad opened them and told me over phone.

there will of been 2 certificates

1 with each individual units grades on.

2nd page had the overall grades on , for example mine was merit merit merit

The maths result gave me a huge shock as I simply wasn't expecting it. My teachers seem to think something must have gone wrong with the marking and I'm getting a few modules remarked. Still, I got the offer for Newcastle AAC to do Economics which is all that matters.
