Asking someone where they are from

What is your point?

One was an old woman asking 'What part of Africa are you from' and the other was a woman saying I am british I was born here.

And it's most likely the case the old woman was asking about the other's heritage, and that other woman knew exactly what was being asked but chose to be difficult.

Could have been handled better, that's all there is.

That's not exactly what he said, but it's possible that perhaps both parties were in the wrong.

One said it wrong, one handled it wrong.

It is exactly what he and most of the same people are saying. Its not SH fault it was the black womans fault for being black, wearing a traditional african dress and knowing what she really meant. Which, I am fairly sure is another racists trope.

Because you lot keep repeating the same posts over and over again. I can refer you to most of my posts for the answers to most of your posts.

Why should I keep responding to the same stupid posts?
This is not an elaboration on what I sought clarity for, this appears to just be more stuff you've made up. I did ask you to quote me, as it is me you have accused of ignorance. I'll give you another try...

Also, what do you mean by "you lot"? Do you mean us brown people? How dare you. OUTRAGE!

You see how I knew what you meant but I have twisted it for my own purpose?

[..]

I've noticed that none of the black commentators involved, including NF, wanted SH to be cancelled.

I think that's unlikely to be true. Denouncing someone as a heretic during a purge requires wanting them to be harmed. It might be politically expedient to claim afterwards that no harm was intended, but that doesn't make it true. In this specific case it's even less likely to be true given the stated position and previous actions of the denouncer.

When I say they're both wrong and you fixate on only the black person being blamed then there's something wrong with how you see things.

If we take this exact situation but swap it around so it's a white guy in, say Nigeria, at a state function where everyone is wearing traditional dress except for the white guy. He's wearing a nice standard 3 piece suit from Moss Bros. He gets asked where he's from, and replies he's Nigerian. Gets asked again, and replies Nigerian.

Is he being dense, difficult or are they being racist?

She tried the same thing on an asian guy in a british suit. Give it a rest.

I think her ignorance comes from thinking every non white is from somewhere else.

So its the black womans fault is it?

She's certainly guilty of cultural appropriation. Since she considers herself 100% British, which is fine.
And belligerently doesn't what to acknowledge any other heritage in this particular interaction.

Doesn't know her ancestors specific African heritage, but then thinks it's OK to wear a mix of Traditional African attire. Now I think that's fine, the cultural appropriation narrative is BS, but given she's going down the extreme "I'm offended" narrative, surely using the same BS offence level, she shouldn't be wearing that if she only considers herself British?

On top of that she also changed her western name to an African name. People that consider themselves 100% British don't generally do this. So she's projecting an African image, but doesn't want to acknowledge it.
You would think she would be happy and proud to talk about her African heritage, particularly given the context of the event.

Runs a charity that's is specifically targeted to an ethnic minorities, and has potentially shown a racist attitude to a mixed race woman (now this is based on twitter posts from an alleged victim so could be complete BS).

Then we get to how upset he was, but video evidence show she wasn't and was happy interacting with everyone, not hiding in the corner as she suggested.

Basically this is just an attention grabbing grift.

This imgur post makes me think of this thread.
