Asking someone where they are from

She's certainly guilty of cultural appropriation. Since she considers herself 100% British, which is fine.
And belligerently doesn't what to acknowledge any other heritage in this particular interaction.

Doesn't know her ancestors specific African heritage, but then thinks it's OK to wear a mix of Traditional African attire. Now I think that's fine, the cultural appropriation narrative is BS, but given she's going down the extreme "I'm offended" narrative, surely using the same BS offence level, she shouldn't be wearing that if she only considers herself British?

On top of that she also changed her western name to an African name. People that consider themselves 100% British don't generally do this. So she's projecting an African image, but doesn't want to acknowledge it.
You would think she would be happy and proud to talk about her African heritage, particularly given the context of the event.

Runs a charity that's is specifically targeted to an ethnic minorities, and has potentially shown a racist attitude to a mixed race woman (now this is based on twitter posts from an alleged victim so could be complete BS).

Then we get to how upset he was, but video evidence show she wasn't and was happy interacting with everyone, not hiding in the corner as she suggested.

Basically this is just an attention grabbing grift.
She seems very conflicted.

**** all.
Oh, OK. So you're just another white guy race-baiting. Lovely

race–baiting
/ˈreɪsˌbeɪtɪŋ/
the unfair use of statements about race to try to influence the actions or attitudes of a particular group of people

race-baiting
noun [ U ]
mainly US disapproving (also race baiting)
the act of intentionally encouraging racism or anger about issues relating to race

Technically correct, no? You're the one here championing literals only.

Since when isn't asking about someone's heritage acceptable?
When you don't accept the first answer the person gives you and then you don't accept the second answer and then you don't accept the third answer

It's not a difficult concept, even for word twisting smiths like yourself trying to justify obvious racism

What was obviously racist about it? She wasn't getting the answer she was after so she asked again.

Asking someone a question again when you think they didn't understand what you asked the first time isn't racist.

The only thing that is obvious is that for the past decade or so, there has been an effort to water down the meaning of the word Racism, to essentially mean any sort of negative interaction between a white person and a non white person (usually black). (Edit: Example people thinking Kyle Rittenhouse shot a black person because certain groups of people where calling him a racist)

In the past calling someone a racist was a serious accusation now it is casually thrown around in internet arguments and political debates like "your mama jokes" on a school playground. Used as an insult by people who think it scores them bonus points in a discussion.

No I do not think this is a racist incident. I think people making monkey noises while throwing banana's at black players to be a racist incident. I consider people shouting racial slurs at immigrants to be a racist incident. And those are some of the "lower" forms of racial incidents. This encounter does not stand alongside them, it would have been a forgettable event if it wasn't for the desire for publicity.

That is some pretty high level racism there mate. Its not burn down house high but...

It's pretty obvious it was low key racism not being satisfied with the "I'm British" answer accept it and move on

Surely it's pretty obvious that she wanted to know about her background/heritage not just that she's got a British passport?

How is it racist to want to know that?
