ASROCK X570 TAICHI - THE RYZEN 3000 MOTHERBOARD GIBBO & 8 PACK RECOMMENDS

A user on reddit mentioned that bringing the gfx card down to the lower PCIe slot reduced his temps by 20 degrees (if I remember correctly).

The same user said that the fan is noisy, where as another user said the fan is near silent. Curious to see what's up when I get my board.

This was the first video I've watched that stated for Ryzen 3000, no need for a board fan.
Now I'm wondering, why no decent size heatsink on the chipset vs a fan.

It would interfere with long cards in the lower PCI-E slots, does seem lazy though.

That doesn't seem to be a problem for Gigabyte Aorus Master or Ultra, both of which have passive finned heatsinks instead of a fan.

Sorry, I just realised this only applies to the Xtreme, which is a shame. Still the point stands (i.e. it surely isn't an issue with cards and PCI-E slots, else they wouldn't gimp their highest-end board?
