Perhaps a better analogy would be you know who told the police about the activities of a gangster which got him sent down for life. You tell the gangsters brother who it was. He is then murdered.

But the people against him are claiming that he was wrong for leaking the information because of the aftermath and potential aftermath.

But no one is claiming Tony Blair was wrong for him telling us the "facts".

Leaks and facts are both forms of information and therefore are equally accountable.

(not you personally) You are being hypocritical to say he is wrong in what he is doing, when we as a country endorsed the war.

Surpringly this isn't a thread on tony Blair. Perhaps go read some threads about that situation and read the thousands of posts saying its wrong.

I am not saying that I have been quite clear with what I have said. You are presuming people are saying that and then arguing against a viewpoint that is not being expressed.

Once again: The leaks have directly caused subsequent deaths something you and AGD disputed. I have not made my viewpoint on whether that act was a lesser evil or a greater evil at all. I have however stated numerous times for people to say how the leaks have bettered the world or informed 'informed people'. And no one to date can give me an answer to that one at all, including yourself.

You are asking me to provide you with evidence to how this information has better informed people.

But that is a matter of opinion, i feel better informed and the people i socialise with feel the same way.

But you on the other hand may feel differently, so how can i tell you my opinion is right and yours isn't? The only person who will be able to provide you with the information you require is your self.

Though the Chinese have contracts to try and find some if that counts. Though not sure how it does.
