Assange to go!

You have to laugh at just how badly Assange has managed to ruin his life, I mean lets look at everything in order:

  • Rapes a woman in Sweden.
  • Chooses to flee to the UK, another EU country which obviously has an extradition treaty with Sweden.
  • Gets arrested and finds out he will be extradited.
  • Seeks asylum in the Ecuadorian embassy.
  • Makes up a story that it's all a ploy so the US can extritide him, even though that's impossible as Sweden already has a standing order so the US would have to wait for him to be sent there then ask Sweden for him, who would say no as that's against their laws (hence why they have refused to send bigger fish than him in the past).
  • Spends 7 years in self imposed detention in the embassy, to hide from a charge that only had a 6 year maximum sentence (at the time he committed it).
  • Gets kicked out by Ecuador for causing problems for the country and messing with the embassy.
  • Gets arrested for jumping bail.
  • Due to 7 years of him shouting about how the US want to extradite him, the new US government (elected during his self imposed detention) actually has an interest in doing so (and actually have a chance to do so now unless Sweden want him).

Kinda makes me happy knowing I can never screw my life up that badly xD

It's classed as rape in Sweden.
It's classed as rape in this country.
It's classed as rape in Assange's home country.
In fact it's pretty much classed as rape in every first world country.

I'm talking about implied consent, for example if you're sharing a bed with a member of the opposite sex you're just friends with they'd likely object very strong to waking up with you naked with an erection pressed against their lower back/butt. On the other hand if you've just had sex with someone then waking up in such a position is quite normal and the consent is somewhat implied.

So you're naked in bed after sex but once you've fallen asleep then if either of you has moved to snuggle up to the other while naked then you've crossed a line and a sexual assault has occurred?

Ref the edit - I think we're talking past each other here, I'm asking where the line is drawn and also agree that having sex with someone when they're asleep is crossing the line. Rape requires penetration with a penis so the above example say waking up spooning clearly isn't rape.

Yup, I'd go along with that too I gave that snuggling example for a reason, that it would seem to be reasonable behaviour post sex whereas it obviously isn't reasonable behaviour and would constitute sexual assault if sharing a bed with someone you've not been sexually active with thus there is some implied consent there.

Hopefully the open question of where the line gets drawn is a bit clearer.

I did a quick google, the event took place in a Casino thus the cards, there is photo with all the nominees/award winners complete with oversized "king" card on the other side of the shot too.

No its not odd. What is odd is assuming a picture tweeted by the NSA of a women standing in front of a massive queen of clubs card is definitive proof of QANON.

Thank god it wasnt infront of the king card otherwise the "liberals" would have called it out as proof that the NSA were headed by the KKK.
