Not sure why it's being remade, the original looks fine supporting high resolutions and works on current launchers without any faffing (and will work on PS4/5, bone and Series consoles). They could instead spend that effort making Skull and Bones less ****.

I couldn't get it to work on ultrawide so gave up on it. I know that isn't the reason for the remake but it would be a nice fix

It's probably being remade because the original fans of the game now have plenty of disposable income and will likely rebuy even if it's no better than the AC3 remaster

I reinstalled it yesterday, after reading this thread.

Really enjoying it, again.

Runs pretty well, maxed out to the hilt, Physx included., still the odd stutter, but locked to a constant 60fps, at 3440x1440.

Do a search for ACBF ultrawide fix.

I used to enjoy it, but replaying this game and i get no sound effects on both systems! Doesn't like my Asus Zonar lol
