Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Hoping when I try it tonight with a wired controller and a restart that RB+A doesn't keep switching between windowed and full screen. So weird, can literally find nothing related to this online. Updated my drivers too, hopefully smoothed things out. Going to try everything maxed out with a 1080Ti and i7 4770K @1440p , should be interesting.

From what I've seen so far, the lands areas are much more sense than Origins, more detail, forests, buildings etc. Obviously have the sea taking up a fair bit of map, but going on a sailing jolly is fun, so all good :)

Wish I had some decent time to spend in it, still just picking up the new systems like the faction war, bounties etc.

I haven’t even done one mission yet

Holds a very steady 60fps for me. Capping at 60 helped smooth things along with adaptive AA set to 60 also. Everything else maxed. CPU working hard, but not maxing out so far.

Wouldn't surprise me, they need somewhere really different to the current settings. I seriously enjoyed what I played last night. Just need more time to play!!!

Level 4, go me! I must stop getting sidetracked! The draw distance (and detail of) is much better than Origins I am finding. Has rarely dropped under 60fps so far. My 1080Ti isn't even bothering with its OC mode. An impressive feat.

People saying this game doesn't look great are on crack. It's gobsmacking, and I'm on a 42" 1080p TV and a GTX 970...it's must be incredible on a big 4k HDR OLED with a beefy GPU.

Level 10, and just leaving Magaris, although I've done about 2/3s of it!

Agreed, it is absolutely stunning and seems to run very well for me. Plus no loading screens and draw distance that blows the mind. I think back to when we had these games and couldn’t have more than a few trees and a little grass. There is detail everywhere now. Brilliant lighting effects too.

Roll the credits :D

:D

Have to admit, wasn’t sure about this since I loved Egypt. Holy moly though, it is fantastic. It feels like black flag, origins and the Witcher - not complaining about that! Easily 100 hours of content, probably more because I can’t stop going to every question mark.

Hunter: Call of the Wild - Sparta Edition :D

I saw someone call it Witcher: warrior creed. Made me chuckle.
