Assassin's Creed Unity

Very disappointed with the response to this :( I was looking forward to picking it up on Friday, but think I wait for a 2nd hand, sub £30 copy. I love the setting, but as the game-play is much the same as previous iterations, not to mention all the technical issues, and micro transactions I think I would feel like a mug paying 40 odd quid for it now.

Only another week until GTA so my new game fix can wait till then.

Metacritic is sitting at 78, Black Flag is 82.

To be honest, I'm not that fussed at reviews unless every single one of them slates a game. Sounds like there's some poor performance but it's not going to stop me playing it.
 
Hmm ... not impressed with the reviews, seriously tempted to cancel this based on FC4 and GTA5 just around the corner.
 
It wont be fixed, the game is shockingly poor on ps4, worse performing game released to my knowledge, x1 apparently fairs better but still poor according to df. I'm actually quite shocked by all I've heard about this train wreck..

I just do not see how they'll fix it, I've heard of games bring performance fixed after releasing before. but I somehow doubt this one will be.
 
Don't usually pay much attention to reviews anyway, everybody thought that TLoU was the second coming, personally I found it slow and dull. So far I have enjoyed all of the AC games, even the much maligned AC 3, so I have no doubt I'll enjoy this too.
 
It's a good thing Shadow of Mordor came out this year to give us an actual decent AC type game, Ubisoft should be ashamed of shipping a game out this broken, how on earth can it drop down to low 20 fps during cut scenes, it's hilarious. Also how they managed to make the PS4 version perform worse than the XB1 version too.

I wanna know why they are trying to render all those npcs on the weak ass CPUs of the consoles, especially when there's plenty of compute to run the basic routines they run.

Jesus, that's like a slideshow. Everything I've heard I still didn't think it would be that bad.
 
so dragon age is better than expected and AC:unity is worse than expected
