Since sorting out ubisoft+ and making it past the intro area of the game, I am enjoying this a lot. Didn't think I would as i've never really enjoyed the AC games but Norse mythology/Vikings always get me interested
I've had a go at it. Cuetscenes at 30fps, crushed blacks on OLED (WTF?), juddery, issues with volume cutting out, HDR a mess.
In think I'll leave it for a few weeks.
This thread doesn't make it sound all too good. Guess I'll wait for a sale.

What difficulty setting are you on for AI? I'd be interested to see you at the same location with different difficulties to see if their vision is sharper.

Odyssey got away with it and it suited a bit more, but the combat needs a lot more weight to it this time round.
https://ibb.co/F45F3cg The hardest i beleive. I have 90% of the HUD off too
Does combat difficulty just make them harder to kill ? As opposed to being utterly retarded
It's grown on me a bit more, still think the combat is poor and needs a proper rework in whatever is next for the series (hopefully takes some queues from Ghosts of T). It's still a bit by the numbers in some respects but I do like the random encounters and mysteries which seem to be a bit more varied, the main story is just meh. Also like that they brought back one hit assassinations with the little qte. One thing I hated about Odyssey and origins was the inability to assassinate targets if you were a lower level.
