Assetto Corsa OcUK TT Challenge! *Season 3*

Any pointers for ptracker my steam directory is not in the c: drive and it keeps failing the install.

I've tried running installer as admin and disabling anti virus.

Not sure. I have AC installed on D: drive and the exe looks like this:

It may ask for VCredist 2015 and then fail to install. Get the latest version here and then install ptracker.

Pleased with a 1.30.877 after 3 laps in the Lotus. Never driven it or the track before today so there's time to knock off for sure. Shame about the Ginetta, cant get the spped in that!

Assume the aids etc are applied by the server? Alternatively, have I blown my own trumpet but not been driving like for like against you all?

Looking forward to he next track so I can spend more time on it! :)

The server's using factory settings. If a car has TC/ABS available, those levels will be adjustable by you, and are usually on their highest level by default.
If a car doesn't have TC/ABS, you can't apply those assists.
Stability control is off.

Having mixed success with VR in AC and not getting the hang of the circuit at all, it's just so damn bumpy and I can't even start with tuning the car setup as the UI in VR is horrific! Feel like a couple hours of track time would help, but find it too exhausting to do so :p
Hopefully next week's track will be something I'm more familiar with, if not I'll probably just skip the VR for the most part. The super sampling did help improve clarity a bit, but it's not enough to make up for a UI that just isn't well done in VR. It's bad enough in 4k!

What is it about the UI that makes you unable to use it?
I don't have a problem reading it.
All the car setup settings are tiny, I can just about make them out if I lean forwards or so on - sometimes they're maybe a foot or so above my head which is just a pain in the rear when I'm sat down.
I'm wondering if maybe it's scale is set by the TV being 4k? I'll drop the 2d res right down next time I try it on the off chance that helps!

Small world indeed @golfnut!

Had a busy weekend so haven’t had much time however my throttle issue didn’t go away. I’m going to switch the potentiometer round with the clutch this week.

1.30 it ain't going any lower. Need to watch a few laps to see where I'm going wrong, consistently wrong!

Interesting way you watched GP today Mr Petey. Dropped In by chance before running a film.
