Assetto Corsa OcUK TT Challenge! *Season 3*

Didn't get much time to play last week, and the time I did I quickly remembered how much I dislike Sebring. Combination of a very flat grey circuit, low sun on the server and using VR just meant I could barely see anything whilst driving :/
Interlagos will definitely suit me better, just not sure I'll get much of a chance to play this week :( Wednesday is probably the only change I get unless I play with a gamepad.
 
Damn forgot to drive one of the cars again. It's weird, Interlagos is one of my favourite GP tracks but driving it I never got into the flow of it at all. What's up next @Uncle Petey time for a bit of oldskool (Goodwood?) and some drifty old metal nonsense?

I've been doing nonsense with a mate in Bigscreen for the last couple of hours and totally forgot about this.
Gime some car suggestions, with at least one thing that I might like :D Nevermind.

Swapped out the Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 for the Maserati 250F V12.
Never given the car a chance and it seemed like a fitting addition...

I'd always disliked the Lotus 49 and avoided it, but I enjoyed driving/drifiting it around last night. It's quite a fun and fast little deathtrap once you get used to it, plus it gives you more respect for the guys that risked their lives racing the thing for real.
Never driven the track before either. It's a pretty simple affair that becomes tricky with cars like the 49.
 
If you want to, change one for another with more downfarce cos I know you like that. I love watching racing at Goodwood circuit, mainly because its so good to spectate there...just thought it'd be nice to drive it for a change. No hairpins, lots of drifty corners from the days before brakes worked properly lol
 
Nah, it's fine. The 72D gives me my downforce fix and the the P4 is fairly planted.
Need to try different things anyway and the circuit choice has helped me to appreciate cars like the 49 :) I didn't really mind crashing all the time because it was a laugh to drive.

I haven't tried that Donington 1938 track. Maybe we could have a go at that next time.
 
Well AC just reminded me why it annoys me so much...after weeks running here with no issues, it just won't fire up in VR. Loads the server, but it's on the monitor headtracking and everything as it normally looks in VR, but nothing in the HMD...

Seriously ****** temperamental. I've changed my video settings, restarted PC several times it thinks it's running VR but it's on my monitor...
 
I've had that before. Can't remember exactly how I sorted it, but I think it was related to Oculus update issues or something.
Sorry for the vagueness...
