I'm not having much luck with G2A Petey. I've tried to buy it twice now and each time my order gets automatically cancelled before the transaction is complete. A quick Google doesn't do much for my conidence either - G2A reeks of dodge.
 
Never had an issue, but they are a bit dodgy, yeah... At least they didn't take your money.
Try here instead.

ED: Then again, that's not including VAT, which brings it to £30... Might as well buy it on Steam.

They don't appear to have taken any money out but judging by my Google search I'm not out of the woods yet - it seems others in my position have still been charged.

Cheers but if I was going to spend that much I'd get it on Steam for a fiver more (£30). I'm tempted to just get the base game on Steam for £15 but I'm not sure if that'll offer enough content to make it worthwhile. I'll have a think about it. Cheers.

I'd seriously recommend getting this edition if you can. The base edition is ok to get you started, but you'll find it very limited if you want to do stuff online or join this TT thing :)
You can't join servers that contain content you don't own + there's some very cool stuff in all those DLC packs.

If you just want the base game, you can find it for about £7 elsewhere.

It definitely is an Oculus issue, despite it only affecting AC. I had the same thing on and off a while ago, but it seems there are a few people having this very same problem since the latest Oculus update.
Have a look at the last 2-3 pages of this thread on RD for some ideas.

Oh, and FWIW I'm still running a clean version of 399.24 drivers. We have pretty much the same build aside from mobo.
 
Use DDU and then install the older driver, I guess.
I'm not saying newer drivers are the issue or anything. Just saying they still work for me and that we have the same CPU/GPU/RAM for whatever that's worth :D

Can't find that clean version online anymore, but I can upload my original DL if anyone wants it.
 
Noob alert! Ultimate Edition is on its way down. :)

Anyone have any wheels that need cleaning?

Edit: Just about to launch for the first time. It might be an idea to keep your pets indoors for the next 30 mins or so.

Edit2: That was a blast, lol. the 312T likes to squirm under braking into the corkscrew! It got into all kinds of shapes but quite predictable which is nice. Lots of understeer though and the gearing seems a bit long but I haven't delved into the setup yet. This is gonna be fun. :)

What assists are you using? (I used mainly the "racer" preset but adjusted tyre wear and mech damage to 0 for my practice laps).

We run factory assists on the server. That means that if a car has adjustable stuff like TC/ABS, then you can set them to whatever suits you.
If a car has no available assists, then that's that.
Stability control is always off and damage is set to 50%. Tyre wear and fuel rate at 100%.
Autoclutch/autoblip is also available for when you're driving a manual car, but don't have an H-pattern shifter. I think you may need to check those boxes in your own settings before joining the server.

After setting up the wheel, adjusting the graphics options etc I only had time for 5 laps of Laguna Seca in the 312T but I had a huge grin from the moment I powerslid out of the hairpin on the 2nd lap.

I'll get a bit more practice in but aim to register a time before the week is out, however bad that time may be. :)

I see a time's been posted by Neverwinter - 1:26 in the C7R.

After a couple of hours fettling I'm a couple of seconds off, but in the Ferrari, lol. :(

This is going to take some getting used to!

I just tried joining the ocuk server for the first time but it won't let me, saying I don't have all the content. The 312T was highlighted in red which is ironic as that's what I was going to set my time in. :)

Any idea fellas?

Edit: Nvm, just downloaded the Lola.

Haha, damn you Paddy. In the time it took me to eat my hot wings, you took ~2 seconds off your 312T time. :D

Edit: 1:26.4 is as good as it's going to get tonight, the beer has over taken me. There's definitely a better time in this setup though, I'll have another swing at it tomorrow.

Where is everyone? :confused:

I've shaved a bit more off, now down to 1:25.7. Compared to Paddy's lap in the Ferrari I'm losing most of the time in S3, or more specifically when breaking for turn 11.

We're pretty evenly matched throughout the rest of the lap, give or take here & there, but I do need to resist having a snooze after turn 10. :)

Well, you're certainly getting into it. Good stuff :)

I really haven't been in the mood to do any laps this week, so I'll either have a go tomorrow or just leave it for this round.
