Assetto Corsa OcUK TT Challenge! *Season 3*

i was doing that mate.

Sorted it now, didnt like it in capitals. Although now its showing as greyed out, unavailable content. I have the Ginetta and Williams, do I need the Porsches to be allowed to enter? Seems a bit stupid that.

There may have been something up with Rack Service. I restarted it 10-15mins ago.

Yeah, you need to have that content I'm afraid. It's silly, but it's how they roll :(

Not sure if I'm going to get much track time this week because my new pedals need some fettling. They feel great and the throttle resolution and precision and brake are leaps ahead of my old set but calibration is not consistent. Once I only had 80% throttle when flat, another time I got 0% until the pedal moved past about the first quarter of it's range. Other times it's fine or thereabouts.

I did some quick tests last night and ran the throttle through the clutch port on the PCB and although it seems better (hard to say without more testing because it's so intermittent) it's still not right suggesting a hall sensor rather than PCB issue. I'm going to remove the hall sensor tonight and clean it, and remove the magnet, clean it and make sure it's aligned properly when I reinstall it.

Fun and games. :)

Lol, cheers. :)

Newton's third law also says I need to do something about my chair, too. Being on wheels means I end up in the back seat after heavy braking. :D

Hey! Welcome to my world.

how do i record my times chaps? I've got PT tracker and RSR LiveTiming apps. Because im in the server hotlapping, does it automatically update my laptimes? I can see Born2bslow and neverwinter have posted times in the Ginetta, but they are not showing in my Ptracker app when im on the circuit. Ive also done 4 or 5 clean laps but when i look on the website, they don't appear to be showing.

I'm not writing these off, they're fantastic in every other way and I think they can be saved (and I love tinkering :)).

I just quickly had a look at the throttle magnet and it has a shiny spot on it so I swapped it out for the clutch magnet, which looks perfect. I put the hall sensors back as they were for now, after a clean. Oddly, despite the previous owner saying he'd already swapped them, the throttle sensor was spotless while the clutch sensor was filthy. Anyway, all clean now and I'll test again later.

I noticed something else that may be causing the issue. The block that houses the magnet and sits inside the back of the pedal has a very slight amount of lateral play. This means the distance between the magnet and sensor can change very slightly during use. I'll pick up a copper shim/washer on my travels tomorrow and see if I can remedy it. Failing that, I'll see if there's a way to make a sensor assembly that attaches to the magnet block so sensor and magnet move in sympathy. That should do it.

Your times should show if you've done those laps on the server, whether or not you have PTracker installed.
All PTracker does is connect to STracker (the laptime board) and provide further info. There's no need to have it onscreen. All it requires is to be activated in either CM or the Kunos launcher and for you to be doing laps on the server.

RSR is an unrelated service.

Best pedals out there. Not got them personally but played on many a SIM rig and blown away by them. I'm saving for some when I get my DD1 in a few months

While I agree they are, “starting from €100” is a bit misleading when that gets you the 1 pedal clutch addon. €579 for a full set...Just the pedals? Ouch!

Actually shouldn’t say anything when I’m planning on a prosimu T1000 3dof next year €2990 ... I’ve been saving for 2 years...getting close now!

great its now showing :) I just thought it would show everyone else’s times when I’m lapping.

Man I'm slow in the first sector, cant get the slow t3 and t4 right.
