Hmm why am I suddenly getting 42 fps on the same track and place I was gettint 70-80 fps before?

Guess ill go back to the last AMD driver and see if that's at fault.
 
Hmm nope same fps on an older driver too... Have they added any graphics updates secretely? I im getting about 30 fps less on every track now.

Anyone recommend a good sturdy wheel for this and others? My old MS Sidewinder seems to lack modern support in a lot of games, and it's getting on a bit anyway. Was looking at a G27 but seem a little pricey, maybe that's for a reason though. Don't mind paying up to £200 or so for a really good one.

Love driving games but only modern game that seems to support my wheel is the F1 games.

Also passed my driving test yesterday at the ripe old age of 37:D

Need some practice;)
 
I use my G27 for modern and F1 games, works fine for both, and mine only cost me £167 second hand from Spain, and gratz on passing :)

All in all, I would look out for a G27, you won't be dissapointed.

Get a Logitech Driving Force GT. It's a perfect starter wheel. I got a barely used one off the bay for £50 and new they are £130 from Logitech. The compromise is the included pedals which are a bit on the cheap side. The wheel itself is awesome though, I have one and love it.

I'm the opposite, I have the G27 and regret buying it! I wish I could sell it but I would lose too much on it for how long I've had it and the cost of it.

It takes up a lot of space to have a wheel set up permanently and I just haven't found that many games that work really well with it.

Though Assetto is one of them, the lack of support from other racers has left me with not much to play.
 
Strange i have had both the g25 and g27 and never found a racing sim that does not work with either great, that includes over 10+ racing sims that i play and from 10 years back to all the latest sims.

???, works with everything I ave tried, even NFS rivals which has no wheel support.

This.

A G27 will work with all of the Codemasters F1 games out the box, as well as, Dirt 2, 3 and Showdown and Grid 2 and Grid Autosport. The only game that's not great with the wheel is GRID.

All the Simbin games work very well and have profiles for G25 and G27.

Then there's iRacing, rFactor 1 & 2, Netkar Pro and pCARS.

Most of the NFS games.

Gran Turismo Prologue, 5 and 6 on the PS3.
 
Hi,

Does anyone have the problem of not being able to put any of the apps to the top of the screen. for example the speedo.

in my case, there seems to be a 1 inch gap at the top of the screen where I can not put any of the apps.

If you are willing to spend a smidge over £200 a very well known high Street pc shop are knocking out g27 wheels for £209, or at least they were in Bristol, and it didn't seem to be a special deal other than it was reduced by a tenner.
