Assetto Corsa

G25=G27 in terms of FF and pedals. It is significantly more noisy and has poorer clickety H-shifter (but on the other hand, its shifter has a sequential mode which g27 lacks). The biggest problem is its age as its production has stoped long time ago and the wheel you buy may end up being 7+ years old. Its a great wheel if its in good condition.

Hmm, probably better to get the G27, though I'm not too fussed about noise. In comparison to this DFP anything is probably quiet

If its significantly cheaper and you can be sure that its not been abused, then I'd go for it. OTherwise I'd go for G27 as it should be a few years younger at least. If you get to test it, make sure you race it (or better still, drift) for 10 minutes or so at full FF - to check if it has calibration issues. The calibration cog can be replaced, but it's the most common problme with G25-27.

I will probably be buying it off the MM or the 'bay, so should be covered as MM users are nearly always trustworthy and on the other hand I can just raise a dispute for a faulty product or something :P

Has anyone tried the modded F12014 Ferrari f14t car?
It looks and sounds incredible. Iv been having such a blast with it.

can't afford to splash out on a decent racing wheel atm - is the game still worth it using a 360 controller or cheapo steering wheel?

Looks great! how is the driveablitly compared to say F1 2013 if you have played it? Would i be able to enjoy it playing on a 360 controller?
lol... the difference is unmeasurable!

Hmm, that F1 mod... wonder what Bernie will say about that considering what he has done in the past.

I'm playing on an xbox controller just now, getting some OK lap times down, still finding it a lot of fun.
On the other hand, looking forward to when I get a wheel.

DFGT warranty replacement shipped, going to be sold then G27 here we come :D

Does anyone have experiences with the G27 having the spiking pedal potentiometer problem? Does that occur on the G27 as well as the DFGT/DFP?

You can open the G27 pedals without voiding the warranty because it just screws together, no security tab or anything like that. The pedals will spike over time with lots of use but it can be cleaned, mine fixed themselves after a while. I recently swapped over the throttle and clutch just because the clutch takes less abuse and was still very precise.

I might buy a couple of those potentiometers though, are they the same model and an easy swap?

Bought this in the Steam Sale a while back (for half price). It's a total blast, and so much fun :D I was online doing a qually and race session at Mugello in a Z4, feels so good to drive, and drives just how I imagine a GT3 car to handle.

Hopefully the collisions will be sorted in the upcoming patches as that can really ruin races as the cars just bounce off each other.

Downloaded the Shelby and my god it's an absolute beast
