Assetto Corsa

Still cannot get downloaded tracks and cars to work, as soon as I try to drive on any track the time trial pop up appears and freezes.

Each Mod car folder should go into steam/steamapps/common/AssettoCorsa/content/cars
Mod tracks steam/steamapps/common/AssettoCorsa/content/tracks

I've done that, got plenty of mods installed. I select an AC standard car, modded track and it crashes. Or I can select a modded car, AC track and it crashes. i don't understand what's wrong. Verified files and that hasn't done a thing.

Did you ever have at least one mod working?

Probably a good idea to delete the whole content folder and do a steam restore.

my car mods file structure, everythings working like clockwork:

What settings are you all using while driving the Abrath around Nuberg?

I am driving from within the cockpit using the racer setup and quickest I can get so far is a 2.03...

Cockpit with auto clutch and no assists. Folk online were getting 1:56's earlier!:eek::eek: Can only imagine they have customized setups and are veteran racers?

Cockpit, but only assist is no damage. Using the setup I posted with the replay above (basically the default but with a few minor alterations).

The major gains in the setups will be with the diff settings, and while I'm well versed in altering them in Grand Prix Legends, I've not touched them in Assetto Corsa yet (that will come if I get the urge to race competitively, which I've not done for a good 5 years now and probably won't get the urge to do it again).

just sat and downloaded a ton of stuff,

is the 8th gear in the F1 mod sorted yet?

Nope. It's a limitation of AC at the moment. I thought they'd just limit the mod to 7 gears for now, as surely it's not a whole lot of work to introduce an 8th gear at a later time, especially if most of that work is already done?

Same with ERS and DRS.

I have just bought this game.the graphics are great and the amout of stuff you can do with the car is amazing. But the problem is that im using a xbox 360 controller and the control of the car is SHOCKING.i have used some other peoples contoller config and its no better.it just does not feel right when trying to turn.if i could do something to make it better that would be great

Im trying to get mods to work but they are not showing when i put them in prog files/steam/steamapps/common/assettocorsa/content/cars

and when I put them in documents/assettocorsa/content/cars they show but i get an error saying that it can not find the lods.ini

any ideas?

Car mods need to go into steam/steamapps/common/assettocorsa/content/cars, not documents. Just put mod car folder into there, you can check that the inside of the car mod folder looks similar to insides of the default cars. Maybe you putting a folder inside which there is another folder which contains the mod? if you know what I mean ;) Track do not go into cars folder, they go in content/tracks.

I bought this in hope the 360 controls would be better than the ones in pCARS, so i hope they're not that bad!:o

Assetto Corsa – TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION License officially revealed!

With more than 10 milions vehicles produced per year, Toyota Motor Corporation is one of the most popular car brands in the world.
It is also one of the most wanted car brands for racing games: drift lovers and race enthusiasts know very well many of its most iconic models, like the Supra MK IV, the Celica, as well as the modern GT-86.

Therefore we are so glad to announce that Assetto Corsa will include in future, as officially licensed contents the following Toyota car models:

Production:
GT-86
SUPRA MK IV
CELICA
AE-86
Racing models:
GT-86 GT4
TS040 HYBRID

Featuring an endurance prototype with the TOYOTA TS040 HYBRID, this agreement introduces a totally new category in the Assetto Corsa's garage, and other car models that race in the same class will follow in future. We are pretty sure gamers will appreciate this variety.

As always, we'll be happy to share with our fans the making of these great and much requested Japanese cars. Our development team had the chance to test at Nordschleife and Vallelunga circuits some of these models, and will reproduce each one of them with the accuracy and the attention to detail that has been so appreciated since the first release of Assetto Corsa.

We would also like to thank all our active AC fans purchasing the game and sharing with us their feedback and suggestions. You give us the energy and the resources we need to evolve and improve Assetto Corsa more than we ever imagined.

Also, is Spa coming out with this weeks patch?
