Assetto Corsa

I like this game but i am really bad at it can anyone spec me some settings for my dfgt my setting feel a bit off.

Thank you please

Hi guys, i was just about to order a G27 when something occurred to me. I drive my car with a left foot throttle as I don't have a right leg. Is it possible to switch the pedals over on the G27 so the left most pedal is the accelerator?
I could probably drive it as it is but it took long enough after 27 years of driving to switch to the left foot throttle in the car so I really don't want to confuse my poor little brain ;)

I believe that the accelerator and clutch on a G27 pedal set are identical, so yes you could use the clutch as an accelerator. Obviously you'd have to remap it as such in each game.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to swap the pedals in the config, so the clutch is now the throttle. Not had experience with logitech software however and the games can control the config also.

Hmmm. I would be disapponted if you can't do that. I think it would be down to the game. You would just need to tell it which axis to use as throttle etc.

Cheers guys, G27 ordered. I had a browse around youtube and it looks like I can switch the whole pedals in their positions if it comes to :)

Any 290 xfire/trifire users here?

I seem to be getting better performance from a single card, both in terms of fps as well as smoothness. If anything, I get slight negative scaling with more than one.
Not played the game much lately and I do remember it working pretty well with a pair of 7970's, so I was wondering if any of you have a trick or two to get this working nicely seeing as I've forgotten everything?

Crossfire here.. seems to work as good as it always did from what I can tell.
Havent changed anything. Max settings 3440x1440 res locked at 60 and smooth as butter.

The fact that I'm not getting at least a solid 60fps at all times @1080p with two cards or more tells me that something ain't right here...
I should be supersampling the hell out of this and still getting better fps than at present.

Usage for one card is usually around 98%. Two cards in the 40-50's. Three cards around 22% each LOL, but that obviously a cpu/resolution bottleneck :D

That's weird.... I used to get about 80-90 fps with 8x supersampling at 1080p on 290 crossfired.

I just tested 3440x1440 with a single card maxed out and im getting about 34 fps...in crossfire its locked at 60 and im not noticing any drops.

Is that with or without AI?

I just noticed that I get proper 95-100% usage with up to 3 cards when alone on the track doing hotlap/practice, but they drop way down along with the fps when AI are introduced.

When i had my monitors delivered (see sig) i only had a 270X, my 290X wasnt working (needed mobo bios update) and i was getting 55-60fps around Nurby in the Z4 i think, and my resolution is the exact same number of pixels as 4K monitors.
Im not entirely sure what game gfx settings were used, pretty sure i hadnt touched them but they may have been auto, but it certainly wasnt fulgy thats for sure. If it was dialed back, i cant say i noticed, and i had 2 mates round (1 being 'Mr Fantastic') and the pair of them can be right slapped arses (and they were at the time!) about anything they dont have, and they didnt moan about the visuals. That said, its possible it could have been lower, but not to the detriment of the games great visuals.

Just fired it up, with the 290X. Havent changed any settings, but there may be some sort of auto thing going on.

Seems i disabled FPS data for screenshots, but the in-game data is there. Dont recall seeing it leave 65fps each time i glanced across at it, i purposely took the screenshot there knowing its a busy part of the track, and yet somehow the game reported 70.5fps.

Im sure it'd take a beating with AI, but i was extremely surprised how well it coped with a resolution comparable (in pxls) to 4K, especially with the 270X. Might not be great online with others, but still quite remarkable how it gets away with it, for such a good looking game.

Hope someone can help me here,I've trawled through endless forum threads to get an answer, but to no avail:(

I'm playing this with a DFGT & steering/ feedback seem to be ok,the problem is that when i go to race, the car is automatically braking when going into corners & I'm not sure how to fix this. I have the Logitech profiler set up properly. Is there a setting in-game that i may be missing.

so at the moment its unplayable for me until i resolve this. lots of folk seem to be having no issues at all using the same wheel

please help !!!

Rob

where do i find braking assist in game ? I cant see this option anywhere:confused:

Found it,what a doughnut, can't believe i never noticed that before

Thanks for the help
