Assetto Corsa

iRacing MX5 has some mega sticky racing slicks, you cant really drift it for example. The car is mega popular IRL, so I'm sure we'll see tons of feedback comparing it to the real thing.

How do you get the game to look so nice?

I swear I have everything on max but I still get jaggies and it looks nothing like these shots!

Supersampling, DSR (nvidia only), Sparse Grid Supersampling + also custom PP filters can look spectacular

@ Borsch do you have a link to the version of the top gear test track mate. *latest version* quite a few versions and links on google. Looked on race department and cant seem to see it.

I'm a bit torn as to whether get this or Project Cars. Can anyone advise me?

I just want the best racing experience, I'm not too fussed about fancy graphics.

AC is your best bet then. General consensus looking around is that CARS is prettier, has better gamepad support and is generally a bit more accessible. But AC has the better actual driving experience.

If you want to race mainly against AI then GameStockCar Extreme is also worth a look.

Time limited demo & 30 day trail here :

Only grey area is I'm not sure how good it is with a gamepad, if you don't already have a wheel.

Thanks for the replies.

I have a wheel so that's not a problem.

I'd not heard of the stock car game so I'll definitely check the demo out. I'm just watching a video overview thingy on Youtube, it seems pretty good.
