Assetto Corsa

Is Cadwell park in this yet ?

Cadwell is one of my favourite tracks ever, used to hot lap it regularly on rfactor (and race 07/on iirc) its the one single reason im tempted to buy project cars just to get a decent version of it.

I downloaded the AC mod on race department a while back and unless its been updated i remember it being kinda crap, felt just like a straight AC port of the now ancient RF mod bringing with it most of the bugs, over bumpiness and AI failings.

I think the last AC sale was around beginning of August, so I don't think it will be discounted for a while :( Keep an eye on the http://www.allkeyshop.com/blog/buy-assetto-corsa-dream-pack-1-cd-key-compare-prices/ comparison site (not sure if I'm allowed to post the link)

The BMW shark (or M6 as its also known:)) mod. Pretty cool car to drive round the Ring. Not as cool as the official Quattro thats in the game, but still

Definitely need to get this, that Lotus 98T with 100% boost !!

Sounds very authentic too..

Yeah, its a beast of a car. I think I've only driven it twice or something - its too much for my brain :)

The AC tracks in both your vids are mods, even the Nordschleife in the 98T vid is not the DLC laserscan but some rFactor conversion - just so you know ;)

Here's a WR in another beast - Mazda 787, on a proper Nords this time

The more I watch videos the more I want it, where can it be had for a tenner? if not I'll lay down the £25 that cdkey sites are asking for it looks worth it.

Holy **** that Mazda 787!

Track day mp looks fun, starting in the cark park haha!

Dreampack DLC is £10.99 on Steam, unless you're talking about game+dlc bundle, then £25 sounds good...

Top game, I've spent over 400 hours in it already and still love it :)

Some shots of Nords car park in AC:

Ohh I see! I thought he meant the game is a tenner haha.

Nah it's £25 just for base game. DLC's worth it? I would want them anyway...

Great video, love it from 1:40 onwards and how that left front wheel lifts off the ground :D the game does look awesome.

Been putting in some time on the 98T on the ring this week. Genuinely sweaty palms territory lol. Haven't dared to crank the boost to 100% yet. Good track for that is mugello :)

you wont be disappointed :)

Also whoever at AC HQ put together the Nismo GTR sound package is owed a HUGE cuddle from me. the half > full throttle difference and roar from that car is amazing :D

anyone been suffering from launcher crashes since windows 10? mine just randomly started doing it :(

EDIT - Solved! its RAPTR :p

DLC is imho the best dlc of all time - for the £10 you get the laserscanned Nordschleife that took around 10 000 man hours to create, + 10 cars : Mclaren F1 GTR, Mclaren P1, Sauber C9,Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5-16 EVO II, BMW M235i Racing, Alfa Romeo 4C, Alfa Romeo 155 Ti V6, Alfa Romeo GTA of 1966.

Assetto Corsa's Nordschleife is unbelievably good.

I mean, I've driven it in countless games and I've always enjoyed it(though not my favorite to actually *race* on), so I really didn't quite think it would be possible to do anything particularly special that would differentiate from the others dramatically, but I was quite wrong. It is the most 'alive' I've ever felt a digital track in a racing sim be. There are nuances that come across in the feedback that make it feel completely fresh to drive on. You may know the layout, but you definitely haven't ever experienced it like this.

It's just stunning. And spending time online with the Tourist layout, where you start out in the carpark and have to manually drive yourself out on to track along with other real players around you is one of the most immersive virtual driving experiences I've ever had. It's gonna be truly, truly ridiculous once we get consumer VR headsets to combine it with.
