Assetto Corsa

any of you guys playing this have a DFGT with the additional DPS shifters from GranTurGismo?

Looking at getting a set on my one that I have coming and just wondered if they are any good?

Just watched these crazy little Ginettas at Goodwood

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpWP6CnE2Ng&feature=youtu.be&t=1h9m55s

and thought what a shame we don't have this track in AC. It's perfect for sans aero cars- fast sweeping turns where you are on the edge of drifting all the time. There is one modded Goodwood, but its nearly two years old so probably rubbish :(

You can get it from here, not tried it myself though

Just tried it... Its a decent enough mod, but the worst thing about it ar the replay cameras. In RL broadcasts the cameras zoom in on the car as it swings through all the high speed corners, but here they are zoomed out and look rubbish. Its ok to drive though, albeit missing the bumps of the laserscanned tracks of course.

Has anyone played around with the offline pitstop. I'd like to force a pitstop on a 15 lap race, rather than racing for hours. Just wondering if there's an easy way to do that.

Also, am I correct to understand that the AI don't have tyre wear?

Another very good mod, physics were made in cooperation with Porsche Nordschleife instructor Denis Malevany so its very nice to drive. Looks top too

If anyone is interested, a new race sign-up system has been created (well, an existing one for other sims now also supports AC). Already popular enough that races are never empty. :)

www.simracingsystem.com

Here's a YT vid explaining it:

In short: Sign up (need to wait for approval from mod), download app/mod, register for races, join races, race.
